"Room was nice but needs to be updated. Tiki bar had empty cans and food all over it. It took 20mins just to get acknowledged and then another 20mins just to get a drink.
Hot tub was nice but something kept dripping from the ceiling and kids kept jumping in and out. No sign on how to order a drink at the window in the pool area. Nowhere to put pool towels when done using and had to come down to the front desk for extra towels and things because no housekeeping onsite per front desk."

"It's a motor hotel, so you know it's not fancy when you book it. What made it great was that it clean, the staff made a very late check in (1AM) very easy, and it was much more reasonable price than other hotels in the area. It's a no frills but very clean and well run place. Would definitely book again when I'm in the area. Friendly staff too."

"My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. We enjoyed watching the birds, but the highlight for me was seeing the baby deer roaming around. It was magical. At night, the stars were breathtaking, and the quiet made it even more special. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Sam, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Truly a perfect stay. We can’t wait to...

"Outdoor area was kept up nice! Liked the fact that there was wood provided for a fire! Had to purchase fire starter. Grill was charcoal fueled. Cabin has a cool vibe! Very clean! Furniture is comfortable. The heat didn’t flow well into bedrooms and bath. Light switches were confusing, signage for switches would be helpful. Amenity list could be updated (Keurig and coffee maker both available). It would be nice if some games were provided as well as scissors and lighter for fire/charcoal....

"The cottage is exactly as described. The setup with the bathroom between the two bedrooms is great, and we appreciated the restaurant recommendations. Excellent location for birding in the State Park, and seeing a little group of red-breasted mergansers floating on the lake—while taking the dog around the property for a last little walk before we left—was a bonus."

"The cottage was clean and well taken care of. We were in the area for a memorial service so did not spend much time there. If we had been there another night would have surely enjoyed the bon fire pit nd lounging outside. Our very only minor complaint would be that we do not have streaming services so navigating the TV late at night was a struggle without instructions. "Pictures show a lake view. That is the view of the home owner. Thick wildfires and hot weather made the accommodations unlivable. Smoke filled the cabin. Asked for a refund from host based on environmental conditions and they simply replied that no refunds are issued for weather. They recommended I cancel the cabin stay with no refund because I was not a good fit for their property."
