"The cabin was perfect and just what we needed. The lakefront property was idyllic and indeed the slice of wilderness heaven promised in the listing. The host, Barb, was helpful, kind, compassionate, and quite amenable and understanding. She even came out in a storm when we locked ourselves out by accident. The location and proximity to other jewels of Maine as well as the freshest of seafood and Maine home cooking made day trips a very feasible possibility! You can’t miss with this property...

"We stayed at this location myself , my daughter, my best friend and her daughter and her husband. We all fit nicely in the home. The property was great. Very clean. Check in was easy and they communicated via text which made it SO easy. Everything was as expected and listed. We would absolutely stay here again when we return. "What a beautiful property! It's located at end of a long gravel road on a tidal river. There's a deck, firepit, and basketball net. You can check the tidal clock inside and explore the riverside at low tide. It is 40-ish minute ride to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Nearby is a Hannaford supermarket and a LL Bean outlet, with plenty of other stores and restaurants nearby. "We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful location, nice kitchen, even a really good place for dogs. We had everything to be comfortable. At nights the sky was breathtaking. The only problem was the mattresses. They kept creaking. Backyard was amazing! We had a such a relaxing time."

"Loved Everything! Nothing like hiking right into Acadia from the back yard. Kids loved the loft and the sofa couch. "This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again."
