"Elsa's is a wonderful place to stay if you are traveling to Prospect Harbor. It is a quaint building with beautiful rooms. But what made our stay spectacular was Gail. She is absolutely amazing. She gave us lots of great ideas about sites to see during our visit. She makes delicious breakfasts. And she's just so much fun to talk to. We wanted to bring her home with us! We will definitely come back for another stay as soon as possible."

"Our stay at the Cleftstone was wonderful. This inn made us feel like we stepped back in time when we arrived. The architecture was so cute inside and out. The staff was very kind and accommodating- though we didn’t take full advantage of that or the amenities because we were mostly gone out exploring in Bar Harbor. "Parking is free and there is a lot of space. Despite being right next to 95, you can't hear the traffic. Rooms are spacious and appear to be newly renovated. There are two sinks, one in the bathroom and one in the hall which was nice if someone was taking a shower you can still brush your teeth. Breakfast was good, the only issue was that the breakfast area was a little small so you have to dodge people trying to get food. Still I would stay there again."

The room was very comfortable, complete with vintage styled appliances. The breakfast was well supplied with varied options for most tastes and preferences.
