A cozy gas fireplace adds instant warmth and ambiance at the flip of a switch.
Upstairs, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms (one queen, one full) and a full bath. Step out onto the spacious second-floor deck—ideal for grilling, dining, reading, or simply listening to the wind in the trees and birdsong all around you. In the evening, watch the sun set over Glen Cove and the Little River.
Downstairs, a spiral staircase leads to a large second living area with a brand-new full-size sleeper sofa, an additional bathroom, and a walkout to the outdoors—perfect for extra guests or a bit more space to unwind.
What’s included
Fresh linens and a full set of towels are provided for each guest. There’s also a washer and dryer on-site for your convenience. To help you settle in, a starter kit includes essentials like shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, soaps, trash bags, and more—everything you need for your first night or two.
Step outside and explore
From the cottage, access a scenic two-mile loop leading to the open ocean. Along the way, take in views of the Damariscotta River, Cuckold Lighthouse, and nearby islands. Head left for an easy evening stroll along the river’s edge until it meets the crashing surf. Breathe in the mix of salty air and pine—it’s pure coastal Maine.

A true haven for nature lovers and birdwatchers, this area offers quiet beauty in every direction. Walk the nearby Land Trust trails to the East Boothbay General Store, or continue on into town.
Glen Cove is perfect for kayaking and canoeing, with hidden coves, winding inlets, and abundant wildlife—seals, seabirds, and more. Paddle over a historic shipwreck, take a guided tour, or simply drift and watch the sky turn brilliant shades of orange and pink at sunset.
