"Nice house in a great location. It was wonderful to have a first floor bed and bath since we were traveling with my elderly parents. The location made it easy to walk or drive to Boothbay Harbor. The only minor issues we found were spotty wi-fi and the latch on the front screen door did not work properly. Would definitely stay here again!"

"It was not easy to see where the rental was (we arrived in the dark and it's a somewhat fast speed road out in the country). Once we arrived, we saw that the camper was lit up - we just didn't know what to be looking for. But the owners instructions were clear and helpful. The climate control was a little tricky in the camper. But everything worked well and the accomadations were great - nice snacks, coffee, half and half, sugar, plenty of towels, etc. Everything was in nice shape. "

"What a beautiful location! We spent 5 nights here and would loved to have stayed longer. This was our first trip to Maine so I had plans to do several day trips while based in Boothbay. We loved it so much here that we stayed in the Boothbay area the entire time.We were able to meet the owners and they are lovely people who are very welcoming to their home.Our favorite spot was the red chairs looking out over the water. "We stayed at the Compass Cove Cottage from September 15-21.The cottage is charming and cozy with a rustic coastal vibe. There is a large deck off the large living room overlooking a quiet and private cove where we enjoyed the sunshine in the mornings while working remotely, then once again for cocktails in the evenings. There is a dock to access the water by the provided canoe or kayaks with paddles and PFDs included. There's a fire pit to gather around in the evening. The hot water for showers...

"This property had so many unexpected amenities. The host anticipates the guests needs (bug spray by the fire pit is just one example). Great walkable location close to downtown Boothbay Harbor."

"What a gem! Such a charming and spacious apartment with a fantastic, unobstructed view of the water! Comfy bed, all ammeneties available, parking easy and convenient, and the bathroom has a fan. AC and heater units availabible throughout the apartment. Be sure to check out the bookstore downstairs! We will definitely return in the future! "
