"My only frustration was the lack of communication with the host. Whilst I booked on stayz the owners communication was on a different platform that my Aus phone could not load. I tried calling the number several times to confirm entry instructions and sent a text which was eventually briefly responded to. Whilst the initial email may have had further information, when we arrived, there was no tv, the wifi didn’t work and there was no further communication with the host which was disappointing....

"Window is broken, letting in mosquitoes. Furnishings are the worst I’ve seen. Shower doesn’t drain limiting showers to 2 minutes before it overflows. I had to buy glasses for water. There was no bin only a bucket which you have to empty in the street bins. The room smells of fried chicken from the shop underneath. There is no vanity in the bathroom so toiletries are kept on the floor. Worst value for money I’ve ever know and I travel over 200 days a year."

"Parking only suitable for a small car. Lovely quiet area with a nice courtyard area for sitting out. Clean spacious unit with comfortable seating. "Idyllic location in the trees. Very accommodating host. Five-minute walk to small shopping area with half a dozen restaurants. Room itself is nice but very small; we were traveling with a lot of luggage and felt cramped. Path from covered parking to room is steep and not really suited for dragging all those bags up and down. We'd love to stay again when we were traveling with a normal amount of luggage. "

"We had a fantastic day. The apartment is located just a short walk from Waiake Beach - in fact, you can go out the back gate, stroll past the sailing club and you’re right there. The apartment itself is presented with modern decor and has everything you need for your stay, right down to the complementary tea, coffee, Milo and cookies. Lovely outlook over the reserve, huge bed in the master bedroom, spa bath in the bathroom, great communication from our hosts… really hard to fault anything about...
