"location is great. close enough to marathon for easy access to activities and restaurants, but far enough away to avoid heavy traffic and crowds. clean property. excellent communication with owner when needed. nice private beach on which to sit and relax or read or just bird watch. have already booked same property for christmas this year."

"My adult sons came along with my husband and I for a week long getaway. We love the keys and because we were right on the water, I was able to still feel like we were "together" while the boys fished. The home is comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking. The master bed was quite comfortable and the roll away cot as well. The fold out queen left a lot to be desired..... All and all it was a really nice stay."

"Key Colony is lovely spot in marathon that makes you feel away from everything but still close to stores and restaurants. The unit is one of the best locations on the property with a beautiful water view from the balcony and close proximity to the beach and grills. A little dated but clean and comfy with all the basics provided for a fabulous family vacation. Highly recommend!"

"We had a very enjoyable vacation. Prior to arrival, you are sent a listing of recommended restaurants and activities, which was very helpful. Also the combo lock entry was very helpful, as we arrived in the middle of the night due to flight delays. Next time we are avoiding the Key West airport in the spring due to very long flight delays on both ends of the trip."

"This was our 2nd time for visiting the Keys and this trip was more about fishing charters. The rental was convenient to local marinas and was nice having the jetty close to property. We did not vist the pool area. My only negative was the unit was outdated. I think the furniture and decor could be updated. But the price was good and im sure that factors in. Overall we had a good visit. Thank you"

"Not what we expected. Hoped to be closer to water. Could have used a map to the area. TV options were strange. No live network or sports networks? Most channels were internet channels. Could not figure out how to change volume on the Samsung remote available. Directions would have been helpful."

Check in was seamless and, while there was never a need to contact the property manager, the communication from them was clear and timely. "Nice place overall. You cannot get to the back area near water because it is fenced off but you can walk to another area of the complex boards. Since you don't book through the resort directly, you don't have access to pool/golf carts but there are the 2 restaurants that you can go to. There are beautiful beaches and restaurants outside the resort area and are a close car ride - we would stay again."
