Along the Diamond Way The Diamond Way long distance path crosses this large field near Moreton-in-Marsh. The route is towards the little dark green shape to the right where a gateway leads to the minor road to Batsford. The bridge carrying the Fosse Way A429 over the London to Worcester main line railway can be seen at the extreme left of the image. This field is where the annual Moreton Show is held.

Wifi very poor. Poor selection of biscuits when the clubhouse is so remote and closed on an evening. Breakfast expensive for 1 sausage, 1 poached egg and two fatty rations of bacon and 1/2 a tomato & 1 slice of toast with no marmalade or butter.

St. Peter and Paul church was built around 1130. It's where some of the filming of Father Brown is done. When driving through the Cotswold, be sure to make this one of the stops. The community of Blockley is really quite lovely.

Todenham

Towards the Fire College The footpath from Great Wolford crosses the field to meet the track that runs around part of what once was RAF Moreton-in-Marsh. The line of trees mark the track and the boundary fence of the Fire Service Technical College which now occupies the airfield.
