"We went to Guatemala with our family of 3 young children (9, 5, 2), my mother, and my sister and her husband. This place was absolutely perfect. We could easily walk to town to explore and take lanchas (boats) to the other towns around the lake. "The good- This home is amazing. The caretaker Victorino was so nice and helpful. The cooks that came over made each dinner one to remember. House can easily meet the needs for a family of 8. The kayaks and paddle boards were very fun and you have your own beach. Ok, the bad(kinda)- you are right next to San Antonio. very close. So when you are sleeping you hear a fair amount of dogs barking. And on the beach the locals travel back and forth quite a bit to bathe in the lake right by the house....
