"We arrived later than planned because of multiple road floodings in and around Cardiff, but staff was really helpful, breakfast was tasty and the whole place was very cosy. We would have loved staying more Nights."

"This hotel has lovely views and great staff, my room was not what it showed on the pics, mattress and pillows very old and uncomfortable and need changing, I had to put towels over my quilt as the room was so cold through the night as they turned the heating off and it was almost zero degrees outside. I can’t fault the staff at all and it was a nice atmosphere but that let it down for me"

"We returned for our 2nd wedding anniversary and had an amazing stay. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. We had our two dogs with us who were treated as well as we were if not better! Breakfast had ample options and staff could not be more helpful. A relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views. We can’t wait to go back."

"A very comfortable one night stay, lovely helpful staff, great good value food. The bed was comfortable and facilities were good. We were at the front so had a lot of road noise which we are not used too. I would recommend the hotel and pub"

"Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again."

"Great location. Great staff. Breakfast selection good, but finishes too early for staying on holiday, so missed some breakfasts. Some issues with bathroom: towel rail/radiator not working,extraction fan not working & strong smell of drains."

"Perfect weekend away, rooms and pub are lovely, really lovely touches in each room. Pub was nice and had live music on Friday evening which was a real plus. Was very clean and staff were friendly!"
