"We wanted a weekend getaway around Patoka Lake. Cardinal Cabin was the perfect choice, the area is beautiful. There’s a lot to do around the area and French Lick is only a small drive away. The cabin was extremely clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub and overall, just relaxing in the cabin. Would definitely rent this cabin again!"

"Wonderful place to getaway from the city. My family spent Thanksgiving here. The owner notified us our cabin was having issues with wifi so she upgraded us to a bigger one with a hot tub. The wifi was still a bit touch and go at first but it was raining and they use satellite. Make sure to print out directions so you can get in and out with ease. Cell reception is almost none existent. But if your trying to get away , you have found the perfect spot! "

"The owners definitely undersell this place in their listing - it was perfect for what we needed! A quiet location at the end of a private drive, surrounded by the woods, was a great location for a relaxing trip away from the city. Charlie and Audrey also provided great tips on where to rent a boat for the Lake, as well as a list of nearby bait shops, stores and places to grab some grub. We’d definitely be willing to stay here again! "

"We stayed for a long weekend to visit family in Evansville. The place was exactly as described in the listing. Beds were comfortable. Fridge is really cold! Wifi worked great. The neighborhood is a mix of cute little well maintained bungalows, with some that could use some TLC. Good location with easy assess to Diamond. Will definitely stay again!"
