"Our family had an overall excellent stay at Magnolia Cove and would recommend it to anyone. The house was clean and in a great location (grocery store 10 minutes away). If the kids weren't in the pool, they were fishing at the dock. We had a very nice, relaxing week and were visited everyday by a herd of deer. There was also an ice cream boat that made its rounds during the day and evening."

"My sisters and enjoyed a long weekend getaway and also hosted my son and daughter in law who traveled from NC. We had a beautiful stay, the views from the balcony were wonderful, saw the deer every morning. Very peaceful and quiet area, about a 15 minute drive to local restaurants. We visited Smith Mountain State park a few times, which is a beautiful park, about a 30 minute drive on the other side of the lake. We also enjoyed swimming right off the dock at the condo! "Our stay at the Mariners Cottage Lake Retreat was wonderful! The house was cozy. The beach lake access is a short walk from the home and not over crowded, it was a very enjoyable environment. Also, the house is very close to the golf cubhouse and the restaurant. The snacks the host left for us was a sweet added bonus. Everything was very clean and the whole stay was just the quiet retreat we were looking for! We will be back!"
