Giggling Creek Cottage: 45 Acres of Rural Bliss, BedJet, Arcades + Pet Friendly

Nested adjacent to the Reed Creek, is a small cottage full of rural charm. Welcome to Giggling Creek Cottage, where the nearby creek giggles with joy that you’ve come to pay a visit.

The Land:
45 acres welcomes you and your family. Giggling Creek is right next to Rockwood Park Road— don’t worry though, head into the hills for a walk while enjoying the fresh country air.

5 acres across the street are part of the land and has a perfect view of what our kids call the Giggling Creek.

THE SPACE

The Cottage:
The cottage itself was recently renovated and some minor renovations are under way. It comes equipped with a Nespresso Virtuo for the coffee lovers. Well water is the main source of water but for those that prefer distilled water, a fountain is also available. The cottage is 2 Bedrooms and 1 Bath with an en suite to the sole bathroom. The cottage is best suited for small families and can technically sleep 8-10 folks with a bunk bed (with trundle) in the Second Bedroom. Each sleeping area has zoned cooling and the whole home has central oil heat. Each room also has a ceiling fan and there is a utility room with a full sized washer and dryer. MBR has a portable crib for those families with very young children.

The cottage has an open garage which two workshops sit. This garage is restricted but feel free to roam the other buildings on the 45 acres. The farm used to have several livestock and chickens. You can even see the old chicken coop from the back porch.

Oh, the cottage is on septic and well water. To accommodate folks that mind the unique taste of well water— a distilled water cooler is available in the kitchen. Please note that additional bottles may need to be brought in from the garage if the red light sensor is blinking.

Enjoy the fire pit with your family, have a cup of coffee on the porch swing while listening to the creek giggle or take in the sights on top of the knoll up the driveway for a short hike around the 45 acres.

The owners love all games so there are several indoor and outdoor games to keep you entertained. Corn Hole set-up is in a black case in the MBR. Outdoor lawn darts are also available along with a tree swing (requires adult supervision and care). Indoor games include Monopoly, Jenga, Connect 4, etc.

Note: we're piloting a toddler sandpit area. Deer also seem to like it and so we've considered adding in a fence. Feel free to use it but please note this is not part of our official amenities.
