"There is a significant difference between Taj Tower and Taj Palace. The Tower is a bit run-down and rooms without any thrills. The Taj Palace is old too, but at least there is an atmosphere of peace and style unlike the Tower where it felt like a busy and loud tourist hotel and with a breakfast buffet that was quite disappointing.
Housekeeping service was amazing, but front-desk and restaurants were a hit or miss. Check-in was however smooth and helpful.

"Vi havde 3 nætter på Taj President.
God seng og rent sengetøj - vi sov dejligt.
Mørkt værelse - minder ikke om 5-stjernet hotel. Lobby, spaområde og fitness var dog pænt og brugbart.
Der var lidt larm udenfor bygningen, hvilket var lidt generende.
Servicen var i top i receptionen.
Morgenmaden var god og med godt udvalg. Servicen i restauranten var rigtig god den første morgen, men sløv de sidste to morgener.
Der var ikke varmt vand den første aften, hvilket dog kom de andre dage.

"Very beautiful and well maintained hotel. Service, restaurant, room, training facilities all lived up to 100%. I did unfortunately not experiencing SPA area, which I hope to find time for next time.
Can be recommended for business trips.
Do not know the area around the hotel, but you have to be expect that it is very different than in the hotel."

"Placed in an old beatiful building the Grand Hotel makes a great first impression.
The room was squeeky clean and had all we needed; including aircon, fridge and great WiFi reception.
The staff was amazing; friendly, polite and very helpful and attentive. Always available.
Breakfast was good and dinner at the hotel restaurant is definetly reccomendable.
The location is good to; walking distance to the Central Station and only 2 kilometers to major sights like Gateway of India!

"We arrived at 3 pm but the room was unavailable so we had to wait till 4:15 pm to get the room. Although the wait was pleasant enough with snacks, we realised that the reception had forgotten about us and it was only after we approached them again that they ‘remembered’ we were waiting for over an hour!
After that initial glitch, the rest of the stay was fabulous! The facilities are exceptional and the service top notch!
The staff are gracious and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding, as was the pool and gym.
Would have definitely been a 5 star rating if not for the check-in incident!
