"This hotel was truly a gem! It's located in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of shopping and restaurants to try. Me and my husband stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. There is plenty of free parking for the hotel guest which is very rare for Chicago and it's surrounding areas. It is also in close proximity to downtown Chicago. The room was very spacious and clean and we loved the old charm of the decor. The only thing that was not the best was that the king...

"I just stayed at this hotel with my wife and kid in the lakeview area in Chicago. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with serveral things about our stay. 1. Lack of cleanliness in the room, we found pills, plastic waste from candy bar, old used contact lenses. As we had a toddler running around and investigating every inch of the room, this could have resulted in fatal consequences! 2. It was very noisy! we had some kind of generator outside our windows, which was running all night...

"If you are looking for a charming place to stay that is walkable to Wrigley, this is an excellent option. The staff is friendly, the neighborhood felt comfortable and safe and it was very conveniently located. The hotel is definitely vintage but it is well kept, cute baseball theme and friendly staff. Would stay here again!"
