  • Denne beachfront ferie condo lejligheden er beliggende i Destin, Florida langs Emerald Coast. Alle enheder er ikke-ryger.

    Enhed # 605 rummer op til 6 personer med en konge i soveværelset 32 'TV, 2 enkeltsenge i gæstesoveværelset 20' TV, og en ny sovesofa i dronningstørrelse i stuen 48 'TV. Denne Destin ferie leje er blevet for nylig ombygget. Enheden har fliser over hele opholdsområdet og nyt tæppe i begge soveværelser. Stuen har et stort fladskærms-tv og dvd-afspiller og nye stue møbler. Begge soveværelser har fladskærms-tv og dvd-afspillere. Køkkenet er blevet fuldstændig renoveret med nye skabe, granit bordplader, belysning og alle rustfrit stål apparater. Master bad har dobbelt forfængelighed dræn og begge badeværelser har nye frysere og granit bordplader. Frisk maling i hele enheden.

Great get a away

Very pleasant experience. Easy access to everything. Love the shopping carts to help unload items. Definitely would return again. Love the private beach the property is located on. Made us feel very secure while staying there.

Not great

This is our third time in Destin and the Islander is definitely the least favorite. If you don’t mind being around shrieking kids, loud music, obnoxiously huge groups of partiers, then maybe you won’t mind. But if you want a nice quiet relaxing beach vacation, stay away from the Islander. We actually left a day early and we’ve never done that in our life! The condo itself was okay. But not great. The bed was not real comfortable and the pillows were weirdly small and the sheets were scratchy. Will not stay here again.

Condo appeared to have been recently stripped down. I mean way down, even the darling lighting over kitchen table that had lil starfish was replaced with plan lighting. Bedding was replaced with plan white cheap looking bedding. Hardly any cooking utensils, not even a tea pitcher. Was not the condo I paid for, I paid for a upper price condo. Was my sixth year staying at The Islander, but already looking to book somewhere else for next year.

Short getaway

The location was great, 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The view from the condo was amazing, you can see the beach from the living room & the balcony. The tubs could use some major cleaning though.

The property was in a great location, the heated pool was the perfect temperature, and the beach service was a great perk! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this is a nice place to stay. We stayed in the east wing and had a great view of the ocean. A very short walk to the beach and Bryson, the beach attendant, was very kind and helpful, always greeting us when we came down. My only complaint with the unit itself was the bathrooms. The vanities are all updated and nice; however, the tub/showers are old and have sliding glass doors on tracks that always look nasty, even if they are clean. Caulking was coming off down into the tub when we showered. The kitchen was well-stocked as far as dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Appliances all worked nicely. The sleeper sofa wasn't very comfortable to sit on and is a bit worn, but it wasn't a deal breaker. There were several outlets/ light switches that didn't work- I called about the outlet in the master bath not working (there was only one, which doesn't make sense in a double sink bathroom), and they sent someone up within a few hours to fix it- however there were several others that I didn't call about because we didn't NEED them. The unit itself was nicely furnished and decorated and we enjoyed it there.My biggest complaint about our stay was the weather- we were there for Spring Break and it never got much over 70 degrees and only had one sunny day- but that obviously isn't anyone's fault! I would stay here again, but would choose a different time of the year next time.

It was well furnished except for the couch and loveseat in living area which had had a lot of wear. Our only concern were the tub showers which were very old and slick with no grab bars. One had to step over a high side to get in. Kitchen was very nice.

Reviewer Comments: We stayed in rental 605 and the Bathrooms have not been remodeled yet and most all of the other units have been that we stayed at the last 5 years.The towel rack in the kitchen was hanging by a few screws when we checked in and I would think the cleaning people would have said something to the maintenance people to get that fixed before we arrived.
