  • Denne beachfront ferie condo lejligheden er beliggende i Destin Florida langs Emerald Coast. Din private balkon giver en smuk udsigt over stranden, som ligger kun få skridt væk. Enhed 509 er ikke-ryger og er for nylig blevet opdateret med nye møbler i stuen og en 37 "HDTV. Køkkenet er kokkens glæde med nye skræddersyede kabinet (forår 2012) granitbænke, nye apparater, forsænket belysning og et nyt fliseregulv. Spisestue har en ny indretning med polstret stole og barstole. Soveværelser har nye madrasser og sengetøj. Den ensuite badeværelse er blevet fuldstændig re-modeled (vinter 2013) - walk-in shower m / sæde og dobbelt forfængelighed. Gæstebadeværelse er også blevet opdateret. Plads til 6 personer med en konge i mesteren, tvillinger i gæsten og en dronning sovesofa i stuen. Ny belysning og fliser overalt (soveværelser tæppebelagte) fuldender denne attraktive Condo. Enheden har en printer, kopimaskine og fax til vores gæster brug.

Summer Vacay June 2026

Pleasant stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was well taken care of and great for our needs. Was nice for us with 6 people. Nice view and balcony is great to have! We used all the appliances provided. I will say to do a load of laundry it'll take longer than expected. But we just ran a load before bedtime and another while we headed out. Guest bathroom sink did drain slowly. Overall, it was nice and we enjoyed our stay and the price was very reasonable. The chairs/umbrella at beach are a nice bonus. Be sure to go early to get a good spot and the water is crystal clear then too!

Great property and very easy access to pool and beach. We had a party of 5 with plenty of room and space . Top bunk in bedroom is very big , can easily accommodate an adult or 2 kids .

Great place to stay!

We loved our stay! The condo was clean, comfortable, and had a great view of the beach, water and waves! The fifth floor offered just the right vantage point to see the beach. The location in Destin was convenient to all the places we wanted to go. We appreciated that beach towels were available in the unit. We can’t wait to schedule our next trip!

Had a blast!

Only one elevator worked and it was somewhat frustrating but definitely not enough to deduct stars or say I wouldn’t stay again. Property was well kept, front desk was friendly and helpful. They have great activities for families and my sons had a wonderful time. Short walk to the beach where Alan was waiting to help with chairs and he is always super helpful and nice. Both pools were very clean and we would absolutely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. This was our first experience staying in a condominium and we would definitely be willing to stay again. Our room was great. It was clean and well maintained. My one complaint would be that the elevators both struggled the entire week. They left you with a feeling that you may not get off once you get on. A frustration that I would mention would be that our condos seem to have a considerable amount less beachfront than the condo to our right and to our left.

This is the first time we have been in November, but it was a really enjoyable choice. The weather was perfect. Unit 509 was an excellent choice. It had obviously been recently renovated, and was so nice. We really enjoyed our time there. Over the years, I have recommended The Islander to friends and relatives, and I know several who have stayed there. It is such a nice location and has always been so well-maintained and updated. Hope to be back next year.

Disappointed in Our Experience

We loved the bracelets for the door keys, and the buggies provided out front. Both of these were nice touches that improved our stay. However, our condo had a horrible smoke smell. It smelled like it had been smoked in and attempted to have been covered up. Drove our allergies crazy our entire stay which had us all miserable. We were also told that we could not get additional linens or fresh towels because of the days our stay was for, said we missed “linen day”. This was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard while staying at a paid for establishment! On top of this, the only elevator at the entire resort was out of order, which made EVERYTHING we did take significantly longer than it should have. Very disappointed in the experience we had, especially considering the cost that was paid to have been there having to deal with all of this!

Not returning to Islander

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to ride front desk staff. One working elevator that’s was extremely slow. Took 1 hour to get all of our stuff to room. The room was nice although most cabinets locked by owner so you didn’t have a lot of room to your stuff. Longer walk to beach than i thought but it was fine. Once we got to beach first day no chairs and umbrellas available. I was told to go at 9am by staff and welcome paper. Each room states free chairs and umbrella but it’s limited amount which no one stated. We had to get up at 6:30 everyday after to get a chair. No laundry in room which I knew but j will say the laundry rooms wash and dry well.

Beach getaway

Great property. We stayed with our two kids and everyone had a blast. Convenient to restaurants and shopping too. Our only complaint was that the elevators could use some maintenance. We will be back again.

We got here early and the staff were working to get us checked in early and realized our a/c unit was not working and yet they still managed to relocate us to another unit of equal value without issue!
