Great little get away!

It was exceptionally clean and provided plenty of room for our family. The entire staff was extremely nice and we would definitely stay there again.

They blamed the paint chipping on us when it was already there did not refund us the 200 dollars will not be staying there again

Another Week in Sandpiper Paradise

Reviewer Comments: We have been vacationing here off and on for almost 40 years and have always loved the convenience and security of Sandpiper Cove. #29 was one of the many townhomes, villas, canal, harbor, and golf units we have rented over the years. It was very comfortable for our group of 5 (could easily have accommodated more), and our only complaint was a too small refrigerator that did not seal well both in the freezer section and the the refrigerated part. Although it was not large enough to handle multiple families, we were careful to not overload it. The other furnishings were comfortable and attractive, and the unit was very clean.

The only issue was the king size bed upstairs squeaked every time you turned or moved. One of the treads going upstairs to the upper bedroom is coming up.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 29 was exactly as pictured. Kirra made the check-in process easy. She answered all my questions and has great customer service. The unit was clean and a convenient walk to the beach which is across the street. Also, a great location to restaurants and shopping centers. There were a few minor cosmetic issues upon the initial walkthrough but, nothing that hindered or inconvenienced my family’s stay. The issues were reported to the front desk and I was offered for maintenance to come fix the issues at that time. I would definitely stay at Unit 29 again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We take a Destin Vacation every year, for the past 5 years. This place was clean and a good size! It held our boat trailers and we were able to have our boat docked there, which was what we were looking for in a house. Only down fall is that we had to load and unload the truck with fishing gear to take it to the boat and back to the house. No golf carts available on site (there was one in our parking area that we didn’t have access too) & the workers told us we could rent one else where but would take up a parking pass.. which we were not able to give up a pass because we have 3 vehicles. This house did not come with any paper towels, dish washer detergent, cleaner, food seasonings or anything like that. The previous places we have stayed at had all of it.Not a bad place though! If we could get by the boat dock with a 3bdr we would go again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice and clean unit with newer furnishings. The grounds are pretty and well maintained. Our only complaint is we came in one evening and found huge palmetto bugs (looks like oversized roaches) in the kitchen. We reported it to a gate attendant since it was after office hours and he acted like that was common and no big deal! We have stayed at Sandpiper Cove several times and NEVER had bugs in the unit. He said they could have someone come and spray but they never did. A neighbor who lives in the complex year round told us the office should have sent someone out to spray. We’ve always enjoyed our stays in Sandpiper Cove so hopefully next time will be better. I don’t fault the owners of this unit. I would absolutely stay in this unit again as it was very nice. This was more of a customer service and maintenance issue.

Great Location

The location was fantastic. Right across the street from the beach. Onsite restaurant was wonderful. The office staff and check in process were great. The space was good for our family. Love the downstairs "patio" under the unit. It was cool and shaded. Would definitely stay at Sandpiper Cove again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 4th time I've stayed in this unit. Always immaculately clean and tidy. This unit is so cozy. The temporary renters ban due to the pandemic was lifted 2 days before we were set to arrive. The owner kept us updated almost daily on this and that kind of communication was impressive as our vacation was on the line.
