Espadín LoHi
The Espadín is a curated guest experience, blending cool contemporary loft-style stays with local lifestyle, for the down-to-earth modern traveler.

All of our lofts come equipped with the amenities necessary for a happy, healthy, and productive lifestyle, such as designer-grade kitchens and spacious, impeccably designed, and decorated living spaces, with floor-to-ceiling windows (hello views!) and excellent natural light (big golden hour vibes).

Hotel Dining
Our eclectic Mexico-City-inspired restaurant and tequila tasting room offering handcrafted Dona Loca Espadín Mezcal and delicious curated meals is female-owned and operated by James Beard award-winning chef, Dana Rodriguez, and CEO Dana Macfarlane. Dona Loca also owns Supermega Bien and Work-and-Class here in Denver.

Inspiring Wellness
Denver is known as one of the healthiest cities in the US, and LoHi is a great representation of why. With a plethora of juice bars, vegetarian restaurants, and fitness/wellness options, including Nurture: a well-care marketplace just a few blocks away, guests will be able to stay on top of their self-care game despite being on vacation.

Hotel wellness events such as weekly rooftop yoga, barre classes, and even ecstatic dance gatherings in the summer are offered as an added benefit for our guests to enhance their (nama)stay.

Each specific unit at the Espadín represents a small business in the neighborhood. Local Artist-Inspired
We've collaborated with local artists to create a space for guests that is reflective of the creative energy of Denver's art community. In our lofts, you will find pieces from Denver-based artists: Sam Prudden, Nikita Coulombe, and Becky Pollard. Coffee shops are a-plenty in the neighborhood, with Coffee for the People being the closest and offering great breakfast burritos and bagels. Method Collective, On and Off, and Novo are all so close by and are equally as great.

Food lover?
Our in-house restaurant is owned by James Beard award-winning chef, Dana Rodriguez, and offers an eclectic mix of Mexico-city-inspired cuisine.

We are also surrounded by the city's best restaurants which guests have the luxury of traveling to on foot, due to our central location. Duo and Root Down for a fresh, farm-to-table dinner, Linger for eclectic tapas, Avante for an assortment of food hall-style meals, Ohana for excellent fresh poke, Rush bowls for a quick acai morning bowl, etc. Many more options can be found on our Insta account page where we have local food recommendations from our favorite Denver foodies.

Vacation Libations anyone?
Zuni Street Brewery is just next door and is a very popular spot for locally brewed beers, plus they have live music in the summer! Recess, Avanti, Lady Jane, and Forest Room 5 are also great places for vacation libations. For more entertainment options, visit our IG page.

Traveling with kids?
Perfect! There are many kid-friendly activities nearby! Approx 15-20 minutes away is the Denver Museum of Nature and Science which boasts epic, educational galleries and an IMAX theatre, and right next door is the Denver Zoo!

Retail Therapy:
There are many locally rooted boutiques in the neighborhood such as Rustic Thread, Strut Boutique, Ruby Jane, and Inspyre.

Music Lover:
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is just 20-30 minutes away and is known to be one of the best outdoor
venues in the entire world. If you love music, or outdoor movies, we definitely suggest checking out their online schedule and purchasing tickets in advance due to strict capacity limits. *Inquire directly about limo/ party bus services.

Connect with Nature:
If you're into mother nature, you will love running, walking, and biking to the many nearby parks- Sloan's Lake is the most popular, followed by Highland Park and Jefferson Park.

We are a 20-30 minute drive from the foothills which offers endless options for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and more. This is what Colorado is known for and we hope you take advantage of being so close.

Kindly be aware that the property does not have a designated parking. Street parking is the available option.

The whole process from the beginning was awful! I completed all the identification process and renters agreement well in advance of my trip and even received my Unit number/passcode. As I was boarding the airplane to come to Colorado, I got a call that my ID process and renters agreement were not completed and I needed to do it all again. After battling on the phone with JZ Properties for a while on the plane, they finally found the documentation. The place was nice, but there were younger groups of people that were loud and obnoxious until 3am both Friday and Saturday. I called JZ Properties on Saturday, but they couldn’t do anything about it because there were no supervisors available until Monday. Ugh! I talked to a supervisor on Monday and checked out early in agreement with a supervisor that the location was not ideal for a working individual. JZ Properties agreed to reimburse me for the nights I wasn’t staying. I had already been charged for the full stay, but instead of reimbursing me, then charged me AGAIN for the nights I stayed (which was an immediate deduction from my bank account). This caused my checking account to go negative. I talked to the supervisor again and she said it was her error, but that a reimbursement would hit my bank in 5-10 days!!!! So until then, I’m negative in my account. This company has some major flaws in their process, lack of access to supervisors and the place can get really loud, depending on the crowd staying in the building

First time staying in LoHi neighborhood and it definitely won’t be my last. Espadín is an exceptional property. The unit was beyond perfect. Check-in instructions were timely. Bed and sheets were super-comfortable. Ubers were easy. Tons of great little places nearby to eat, drink and explore. Highly recommend: Williams & Graham (speakeasy) and anything mole at Alma Fonda Fina just three blocks away. We’ll be back!

The property was clean and very well stocked with what you might need..especially in the kitchen. Would highly recommend it to anyone!! We had trouble with our lock but it was addressed immediately!’ Thank you!!

Everything was great with the apartment; clean, very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen. We also loved the LoHi neighborhood as it was beautiful and quiet, and a friendly neighborhood espresso/bakery/pizzeria/ bar (Tony's Pizzeria.) The only con was that our apartment door was difficult to open-multiple tries to make the code work every single time. We discovered that the door wasn't locking at all and our belongings were left unsecured when we were out and about. It's a good thing the building itself is secure and that we were in a safe area.

The bathroom sink was gross/needs a clean out. Had a hard time opening the digital door lock. needed to try seven times, to open it…or needed more specific directions… otherwise a beautiful apt.
