"Our stay at La Anita was the highlight of our two week trip traveling throughout Costa Rica. Pablo, the owner, is a superb and gracious host who pays the utmost attention to every minute detail. We were shown impeccable hospitality and made to feel welcomed and extremely comfortable. The chocolate tour was over the top!"

"Adrian welcomed and gave us several restaurant recommendations. The included breakfast was delicious. We had a great view of volcano Arenal from our room. The AC worked great, excellent water pressure in the shower. Hair dryer and toiletries provided. Unlike other hotels, there were hooks to hang your wet towel on. Located far enough away from the main drag that it was quiet at night, but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops."

"The rooms at this hotel were a perfect size. I liked that the bedroom was separate from the rest of the room and it had keys so you could lock it if you left with all your belongings inside of it. Everything seemed brand new. The only thing was I couldn’t figure out how to get hot water in the shower lol the only recommendation I would have would be to put a nightstand in the bedroom as there is nowhere to set anything. Overall, it was an excellent stay, very very clean nice location."

"Please know that the beach Nandel faces is a kite surfing training area for some of the world elites. It is windy, most of the time. This keeps it cool and nice to sit at the beach and at the pool, no bugs. Tie your hat on... it is very windy."
