"Truly amazing lodge with many different activities, great atmosphere and facilities, good food and super friendly and welcoming staff. On our five weeks round trip (we stayed at 15 different hotels) this was probably our favorite place. "

The only downer was that the WiFi in our cabin didn’t work well and the floor boards creaked a lot which was a bit much during the night. But wouldn’t stop me from recommending staying here. "

"Our stay at Bauma was fantastic! The staff were very helpful, parking lot was paved, jacuzzi was a good size & the bathroom plus shower were very spacious. It is closer to La Fortuna waterfall and a short drive into the downtown area. There is a small market down the street as well. We would definitely return back to stay here! "

"The staff was courteous and helpful, the breakfast and pool was great, the rooms were nice. The only suggestion I have is to maybe add seating to the rooms. I am an early riser, and it would have been nice to have a place to sit and read or drink coffee waiting for the rest of the group to get up!"

"Our stay here was fine. The room is okay. The only thing was that the glasses and cutlery didn’t get cleaned so we had to do ourselves in the bathroomsink.
The hotel is a long way from the city so you need a car or you will have to get a taxi. "
