"Very convenient location for a downtown wedding - close enough to walk in. Walking route had many drug users and homeless, though, so we usually drove. Lots of noise from upstairs - non-stop barking dog, could hear every footstep. Bed was the least comfortable bed of any place I've stayed in years; between the two, not a great sleep on any of the 5 nights. Neighbors shouting at one another outside at 2am. Floor is very uneven - be mindful if anyone in your group is not sure-footed. Drops and...

Had dinner at Flannagan's, right below the apartment and was able to put our leftovers in the fridge before going to the concert since our place was just above us. "The furnished apartment was a perfect spot to land when a need arose to be closer to the Grand Rapids area for six weeks. To be able to have a place to come back to, relax and cook meals was invaluable. Those in the apartment building were so kind and those that managed this VRBO were ever so helpful as we needed to extend our stay. It was also the perfect spot to get many places easily and quickly. Plus, who doesn’t like living in a castle."

"The property itself was newly renovated, & well stocked w/essentials for hygiene & cooking. Furthermore, it was in the middle of beach, Michigan Adventure, & Grand Haven. Many grocery stores and other places to run out for quick errands were close by. The only downfall was neighborhood was very sketchy & shady. I didn’t feel safe walking around neighborhood. We stayed on the property itself when we weren’t out and about."

"This is a cozy little get away place that we enjoyed very much. Loved the kitchenette for morning coffee and late evening suppers of leftovers warmed in the microwave. We also enjoyed afternoon tea there each day of our stay. Evenings were spent in the lovely front room in front of the television watching retro tv programs...a favorite.
