"I used to call this quiet neighborhood home, and it was a treat to be back briefly. The space is quiet but charming, with a nicely appointed bathroom and a comfortable bed. Love the colorful decor. "

"We rented the cabin for a family wedding at Mt Sunapee. I have been coming to Sunapee most of my life and love the aera. This house was so cozy and decorated so nice. My only dislike would be that there was no AC in the main part of the house and it was very hot. But other than that it was perfect."

"The cottage and location were amazing. We loved every minute of our vacation here! The water was crystal clear, the dock with diving board was a huge hit! We loved morning swims and wine on the deck overlooking the incredibly gorgeous and peaceful pond view. The kids had a great time, the dog lived in the water, and my husband and I got some much needed relaxation. The owners were exceptionally responsive to inquiries and check-in and out were seamless. "Great place with very accommodating hosts. Dog and kid friendly house and the pond kept my family entertained for a week (great swimming off the float, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding). This was our 2nd stay and we'll definitely be back!"

"We moved 27 years ago from NH. John was born in New London and raised in Sunapee. We raised our 2 kids in Henniker. Rodd cottage made an amazing place to bring our family together. Peaceful and relaxing. Lots of things to do too.Thank you to the Rodd family for sharing."

"My family of four traveled for a quick fall foliage tour mid October. We used this house as our base instead of staying at multiple places. This meant we drove a little more each day but we got to wake up and come home to this magical place. Seriously. We wanted to come home early each day to spend more time here. It’s quiet, enchanting, spotless, and filled with charm. I cannot stress how beautiful and peaceful it is being directly on the lake. We will definitely be back. "
