First time visiting Frisco. Location was great. Breakfast attendants were kind and the breakfast was very good. Fitness center was nice. Rooms were good but very outdated. Mildew smell but kept fan on and it was fine. Beds were comfortable. Housekeepers were nice & efficient. Check in was smooth. Night audit agent & daytime female agent were kind. However, the front desk agent named Clarence was utterly one of the most standoffish & arrogant human beings we’ve ever met. He kept an ear pod in his ear during his shift, actively on personal phone calls and seemed annoyed when my mother requested housekeeping one time during our 4 night stay. Very unfriendly and should not be in hospitality. Then, while having breakfast, ourselves and other guests overheard him speaking loudly on his cell phone, patronizing someone that apparently works for him, as he is a coach for a second job, it was super disrespectful and unprofessional. It was very interesting to find out that the hotel receives many complaints, yet he is still working for Comfort Inn with this type of negative attitude and unprofessionalism. I previously worked in hotel management for properties in Miami Beach and this would not be tolerated after even one instance. It was the only negative during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time at this location. I would suggest that Michael, the hotel manager, get with Clarence and give him some one-on-one training on guest service and etiquette.
