"My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Parkgate Hotel. The surrounding area is close to everything and vibrant with student life on the weekends, so coming home to the Parkgate is such a haven after experiencing all that (excellent) chaos. The hotel was perfect: the bar was well-tended and cozy (and beautiful), the lobby was grandiose, the staff was attentive and kind, and the rooms pleasant and clean. We couldn't want for more. "Basic small room with ultra small ensuite on 2nd floor, no lift for heavy luggage. Bed reasonably comfortable although just big enough for two Adults. Sink in Ensuite barley big enough to wash hands and water pressure to high so splashes over floor. Just passable for an overnight stop, but would suggest a larger room if you value space to move freely. Breakfast brought to your room which was a bit of a squeeze but it was cooked well and was thoughly enjoyed."
