"Well taken care of property had all the amenities you could need and thoughtful hosts. We stayed four nights with our dogs and had no issues. It is on a busy road but fully fenced and not a problem for us. Kitchen is very well stocked too. Would definitely stay again if in the area!"

"The Carlson House is a fabulous place to stay! We loved our three nights there and we should have stayed longer! Lou Anne was wonderfully welcoming and very communicative. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely and took full advantage! Mesa Verde has been on my Bucket List for some time, so if you are going to Mesa Verde you must stay at the Carlson House! We loved the welcoming deer on our first night, and the resident cat "Flash" is so loving! We nicknamed him Morris! Everything is magical here!!...

"We stayed here with extended family to tour monument valley, mesa verde and 4 corners. It was the right location to spend the night after the long monument valley drive and perfect for doing mesa verde. It has beautiful views and close to town. The pictures of the house are accurate. It needs some repairs..cracked tiles and mirrors, sidewalk and drive way deterioration causing tripping hazards …but the beds are comfortable and plentiful which is what we needed most. You can tells it was well...

"This property was located perfectly for day excursions to Mesa Verde and Durango. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Very comfortable furnishings. My only suggestion would be to install screens on the windows and doors. We couldn’t open them at certain times of day due to the bugs."
