"The staff were lovely. The room had some issues. The lighting was poor especially the communal corridor. Couldnt see to insert the door key. No facial tissues. "Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! "The Tollgate Inn was absolutely amazing! We hoped to stay at a traditional English Pub, and we got blown away 🤗 We stayed in the Cottage across the parking lot. A beautiful place with kitchen, parents bedroom, bathroom upstairs and a small yard with table and chairs. The food at the Inn was great. The atmosphere as well.
