We agreed that we wouldn’t recommend a 4th couple. However, you could easily throw 6-10 kids into the mix and have lots of space for everyone."

"Creekside Cottage in Vernon is amazing!! Such a lovely, homely and quiet place only a 5 minute drive to downtown Vernon! The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable, cozy stay. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful and are always available if one has a question or a “need”! "We had a lovely time in your spacious cottage with a group of friends and our kids. The beach is lovely (wish we'd brought a volleyball for the beach volleyball court!!), the playground kept the kids entertained each day, and the walking paths down to the beach made for a nice scooter path for the toddlers. Easy driving distance to various wineries. Would definitely stay again!"

"Beautiful home, well maintained. Does not have a lakeview, as advertised, that was disappointing. Pool was closed, no explanation on the doors, owner did contact us and told us why. The whole complex was very quiet and it was a restful stay. The beach is nice, but having no shade is unfortunate."

"Cathy and Bruce’s guest suite was exactly what we were looking for. Remote enough to be able to enjoy the hot tub with full privacy, but close enough to Golden that we had easy access to stores and restaurants. Cathy and Bruce were both super personable too. Cathy had amazing recommendations for restaurants and local attractions and Bruce was a fount of knowledge about the area and local regulations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend."

"The house was very well appointed , clean and spacious. We brought our boat and appreciated the very nice marina where we were able to rent a slip. The kids (3 and 4 years old) loved the pool, the one pool for children is less than 2 feet deep and ideal for that age. It’s a little bit of a trek to the beach, made much easier by use of the wagon that is available for use. Had a wonderful time!"

"This property is wonderful and so well stocked. You will have everything you need at the house. The use of a golf cart is such a nice bonus! Our kids loved it and begged to drive around the neighbourhood every morning. Very close to the playground and the pool but still in a quiet area. We’ll be coming back for sure!"

"We were visiting our son and daughter-in-law to meet our new grandbaby but needed a place to stay as they had just moved and were not set up yet to receive us. This little carriage house was perfect. The house is simple, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It is also extremely well located. We were close to the water and several popular beaches -- also a short walk to an excellent little grocery store/market, cafe/bakery, and other lovely shops. Very suitable for a couple of any age. "overall very happy based on price and staff. This is an older hotel that has been recently renovated to make it more pleasing but the renovations were not totally completed but overall still makes this hotel a great stay. Staff were very friendly and asked us if everything was ok on several occasions. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. Would stay again!"
