"This house is very close to Pike's Peak and Mannitou Incline so it was perfect for our hiking vacation. It's a sweet little house with character, lovely furnishings and a beautiful yard where we enjoyed eating breakfast. We had 4 adults in our group and it was a great size. It would be a little tight for 6 adults, and 2 would have to walk through another bedroom to get to their bedroom, but the third room would be a perfect room for children. "

"This was such a cozy spot in the vibrant community of Buena Vista! I took day trips out to see Western Colorado, and BV was perfect home base.The hosts were so helpful with recommendations of places to go and things to see, the kitchen was well stocked with utensil and appliance I needed, the furniture was comfortable and well laid out, and the laundry was really convenient. I’ll be back if I’m ever in the area again!"

"My friend and I came for a girls trip Labor Day weekend 2025 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "Cozy Cottage". It's exactly as listed and we were so glad we chose to stay there vs other places we'd seen. It was very cozy, fully furnished, and we felt very safe. We loved the town of Walden also. "Nice hotel about 15 minutes by car to downtown. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was clean, but needed som updates. The showedrain was clogged, and even after maintenance fixed it, it was not 100%. The ventilation in the bathroom did not work and the door was jamming. The breakfast is very nice with juice, coffee an tea. You order from a menu with plenty of healthy options. The pool area is a bit dated. The staff were nice and welcoming. The cookie at arrival was delicious, and we were offered one when checking out as well, possibly to make up for the fire alarm that woke us up before 7 :)"
