The Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), is a convention center located in Colombo. Built between 1970 and 1973, the convention center was a gift from the People's Republic of China in memory of Solomon Ridgeway Dias Bandaranaike, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka from 1956 to 1959. The construction of the Hall was carried out by a joint Sri Lankan and Chinese workforce with a considerable portion of the building materials being imported from China. In 1998 a small Exhibition Centre, the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre, was built on the grounds as a gift from China. The BMICH premises is managed by the S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation (BNMF) which is chaired by the President of Sri Lanka. The BNMF has an academic wing specialized in International Relations, Languages & Cultural Studies named "Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS)" located within the BMICH premises.

Walking into Plus Nine Four, I felt right at home! It had a very homely atmosphere, and there are a few tables outside and a few inside, so you can sit where you prefer. The service was fantastic since within a minute of taking my seat, I was brought a menu. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, going to great lengths to cater to our needs. #TroverFoodies

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, most amazing pool I have ever tried. On to of that a great complimentary 3h Colombo tour where you see the top sights and get information by a knowledgeable guide.Great help with the breakfast (allergy )Highly recommendable !

Only a very few of us can truly relate to this genre of music. This was a free gig that was open to anyone and everyone. Given that there were 2 other events happening in Colombo and Mount Lavinia, we ended up having this hardcore fans who enjoyed the fraternity on a Saturday evening. The only venue the rock community can get these days. But seems like this would be the last few concerts that we get to do here. The government is renovating the place, so they say. Till then we need to find another location.

In the picture are both Veg and Non Veg Options; Geek HQ 's special burger named Its Cloebbrin Time, Chewie Sandwich the non veg option and Red's Big Fries. This all came to a total of around 4000LKR which was quite reasonable and was shared among 4 of us!
