"Great location. Walk to town and lake easily. Bathroom is very small. Would recommend a night light as it’s very dark at night. Also an additional mirror in bedroom. No real sitting area was the downside."

The host communicated well, the house was clean, and we appreciated the helpful information about the area and the complimentary snacks.Our only concern was the living room furniture, which was uncomfortable and didn’t provide adequate seating for four people. We found ourselves rotating between the chair, sofa, and floor while watching television. Aside from that, everything was great!"

"The location was perfect. It was walkable to the water and downtown. It is very safe. Many mornings we took a walk downtown to get coffee and breakfast. Lots of good food options. The house has everything you need to cook a meal if you prefer. The outdoor seating is adorable! We spent a few nights out there with a glass of wine. I highly recommend staying here!"

"A group of 7 of us stayed the night before the prestigious Seneca 7 race. It was absolutely perfect for our stay and we look forward to staying again. The views from the bedrooms and living room were amazing. There were 7 mattresses total so everyone had the luxury of a comfy, solo bed. The kitchen was stocked with essentials. Lastly, the price for that number of beds and 2 full baths was a steal!"

However, the host made the experience much less enjoyable.From the moment we arrived, there were signs posted throughout the property warning of 250 fines for various violations. While I understand the need to have rules in place, having them displayed on what felt like every other wall was excessive and took away from the relaxing atmosphere.What was missing, however, were instructions on how to operate the hot tub. "We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home on Lake Canandaigua! The house was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We loved grilling out for BBQ dinners and spending the evenings around the fire pit making s’mores with the family. The lake views were absolutely stunning, and the location was perfect—close to everything while still feeling peaceful and private. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"
