"The property is impeccable and very well appointed. The neighborhood is the most quiet I've ever experienced. It was the perfect base for exploring waterfalls and beautiful hiking trails all within ten miles. We could have stayed much longer. An eastern screech owl serenaded us for a few minutes each twilight. There were a few black bears in the area but they kept to themselves. They certainly didn't stop us from enjoying the patio. Hosts were very friendly and helpful."

"The kids walked in and immediately said they wanted to buy a tiny house!! haha! The place was so clean and just perfect for 4 of us. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. We came in the heat of summer and the AC units were nice and cold. The kitchen had everything to cook a small dinner. The shower was so much bigger than I thought it would be. And there was storage everywhere for our bags and clothes. We will be back to see what it is like in the winter and again and again!"

"The location is beautiful. The house was clean. kayaking and canoeing on the lake was amazing. Also rented a boat one morning to tour the tree beautiful waterfalls on the lake. The only issue would have been parking, however the owner was very accommodating. It's best if your able to park your vehicle inside the garage. Great lake front location with beautiful towns nearby."

"Our week in Highlands was so enjoyable and Foxglove Flat, although rustic on the outside, is a beautiful space to call home. It was absolutely spotless, comfortable and easy access for my husband with his mobility issues. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need to cook. Multiple coffee making options was nice. I was impressed with the quick response I had regarding the shower (operator error on my part) and the notification that bad weather was on its way. We would not hesitate to...

"So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future."
