YUTORIA RESORT HIDATAKAYAMA
10/10 Fremragende
"We stayed at Yutoria Resort with two children under 10 and our infant, and we were pleasantly surprised by how new, beautiful, and well-maintained everything was. The reception staff were very kind and welcoming, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and excellent value for money. The resort is currently undergoing renovations, so the restaurant and bathing facilities were not yet available for use during our stay. The reception area is also temporarily located in a small building, but apart from this, everything was great. The only downside is that the resort is a little far from the town centre. However, there are good bus connections, and we walked into town every day, which took around 25 minutes. Daily room cleaning is available, but we chose not to have our room cleaned every day. Despite this, the staff thoughtfully left a bag with fresh towels and two litres of water on our door handle every day. What really stood out was how family-friendly the resort is. Upon arrival, each child received a lovely little bag containing an activity book, slippers, bath soap, and a children’s toothbrush. At the end of our stay, the children were surprised with Halloween goodie bags and a free toy! These small gestures made us feel very welcome and showed that the resort genuinely cares about its younger guests. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and found it to be fantastic value for money, especially for families travelling with young children. We would happily recommend it!"

"Fantastisk hotel oppe i bjergene. Har to onsen-bade, hvor det ene er med infinity-pool og den smukkeste udsigt. Vi havde eget onsen-bad på terrassen. Meget stort rum! Den største morgenbuffet med både internationale og klassiske japanske retter. Bl.a. blåfinnet tun og krabbe. Kinseki-middagen var en stor oplevelse."

Highland Resort Hotel & Spa

"Amazing view of Mt. Fuji. Room was clean. Onsen was clean and with many great baths. All staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was varied – Japanese, Western, as well as many other types. It’s a bit out of the way and not in neither Fujikawaguchiko nor Fujiyoshida. We took the bus directly to the door of the hotel from Tokyo (which was great when arriving late!) – but we had already planned to rent a car to get around, so we knew the location wasn’t going to be a problem for us."

"Friendly and helpful staff, clean (great scent when entering the lobby) and very pretty interior decoration. Nice public bath as s part of the stay. Location good with walking distance to biggest attractions and the station. All in all a great stay. Beds a little bit on the narrow side."
