This was incredibly helpful. Another highlight of our stay was the wonderful welcome tea and tasty breakfast provided during our stay. Although it was a bit more expensive than other options, these benefits were well worth the additional cost."

"This Ryokan is so lovely. Upon checking in they served me tea and waffles in my room and then left snacks in addition to the free tea and ramen in the hallway. The room was extremely clean and it was so nice to put on the yukata they provided and sit on the cool tatami floor at the end of the day blow drying my hair. The futon bed was also very comfortable. "교토의 마치야를 깔끔히 개조한 곳으로 위치가 기온이나 히가시야마를 도보로 둘러보기에 아주 좋습니다. 다른 먼 곳으로 이동하기에도 버스정류장이 바로 앞에 있어서 아주 편했어요. 골목길 안쪽에 숙소가 위치해 있어서 소음도 들리지 않고, 1층과 2층이 분리되어 있어서 휴식과 수면을 공간 분리해서 이용할 수 있어 좋았어요. 아이와 함께 갔는데 아이가 2층으로 올라가는 걸 아주 좋아했습니다. 단지 신장 180cm가 넘는 가족은 공간과 공간 사이를 이동할 때마다 천장 구조물에 부딪히지 않도록 허리를 굽혀야 해서 조금 불편해했어요. 그것 외에는 관리자와 소통도 아주 원활히 잘 되었고, 많이 배려해주셔서 감사했습니다."

"Rigtigt godt hotel/lejlighed i et smukt og roligt område.
Hotellet lå ud til en lille kanal, med piletræer. Der var flot og tæt på lå en overdækket butiks/spisegade, så man kunne gå i lå for regn og sol til metroen og busserne rundt i byen.
Værelset havde to store og gode senge, med aircondition. Herudover var der køleskab, el-kedel, mikrooven samt kogeplade. Service var minimalt kun til 4 personer. Kun et bord med 2 stole, men kan rykkes rundt så 2 sidder på sengen (hvis man er familie på 4).
Vaskemaskine samt badeværelse der kan fungere som tørreskab, perfekt når man er på rundrejse i Japan."

Stedet har en rigtig fin placering med let adgang til Gion, metro, restaurant-områder mv. Ok vaskefaciliteter, som dog er lidt begrænset og den ene af to vaskemaskiner virkede kkke.
