"We have a group of teachers who get away to this cabin every year in the early spring. It's always a great location. Close enough to go out hiking or to Berkeley springs for people that want to do that, but plenty of space to hang out if you just want to rest and relax around the property."

"Note: "Pet Friendly" only extends to dogs under 20 pounds. The park trails along the Potomac were its best feature. They start just a very short walk from the front door. The house worked out very well for us. It was sparsely furnished and some elements were slightly shabby, but it was fine as we were most interested in getting together. It was excellent value for the many bedrooms. Just don't expect a mansion. "

"The property was perfect for a long weekend of sports at a nearby complex. Each family had their own room and bathroom. The common areas were spacious and the grounds just breathtaking. We will be back!"

"You're close to many places but you feel like you're in your own little world. Very quiet and peaceful. The house has many rooms, which I think is great! So many places to spread out and relax and do what you want. We didn't get to try the pool out very much due to weather, but it's also a nice, relaxing spot. Our family had a great time!"

"We absolutely loved the house and all it's uniqueness. I'm a sucker for an older home, and this was just a delight. Very comfortable space, well kept despite it's old age, has such a welcoming and warm personality, enjoyed the living spaces, comfortable bedrooms, large outdoor spaces, beautiful deck to enjoy the spring/summer air, and just overall ease of use for the home. My friends and I had an amazing time and we hope to be back soon."

"We spent a thanksgiving at the farm and it was great. The animals are fun to feed and the house had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked as well."
