"We were met with a vase of flowers on the kitchen counter. The home was very clean and lots of essentials were included (spices, sugar, condiments, tea, soap, shampoo) Instruction sheet on counter was complete and helpful. We were a little surprised at the lack of privacy between the two sleeping areas. Probably my own fault for not reading all the reviews. "Absolutely wonderful! The room and the lake is the destination. No desire to go elsewhere for entertainment. The lofts are a fantastic idea. 5 of us in 2 bedrooms and we hardly noticed each other. Plenty of room. The antiques in the rooms are beautiful and they function! What an excellent experience!"

"This cabin really takes you back... from a working percolator coffee maker, toaster, & stove, to the super cute blowdryer! Breakman's quarters is an end unit, & has a large, modern walkin shower. Nice water pressure. Kitchen has a working retro-looking fridge & microwave. Easy to access door code & ice available onsite. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the dining table & the adirondack chairs on the lawn. Its August, so many plants & grass have died back, & no train went by on our visit....
