"We had a hard time finding the hotel using GPS directions. Had to ask police officer. When you get off the bridge go left and first tight into very narrow street and right again and you will see hotel straight ahead with blue columns. If you see parking on the street park. "We stayed for four nights. The room was nice, A/C very good, room was clean and over all in very good condition. The beds are on wheels, which is annoying. The staff in the reception are plain rude. After having checked in and paid, we were not once acknowledged as existing. No-one ever looked up, and even though we passed through the reception 20+ times, not once were we greeted. There is often a lot of staff members hanging in reception, but not to the benefit of the clients. There is no...

"After the el mirador trek I stayed at hotel Santana and it was a very pleasant surprise. Excellent staff and the room was clean and beautiful with a great view. The restaurant below was very good also. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Very nice. "

"Staying on the Island of Flores can be difficult, if your hotel is close to the many bars that are on the island. Flores is fun, and staying here will allow you to experience this. What I appreciated about this hotel was the proximity to the night life, the private pool, and the soundproof walls and windows! I will DEFINITELY be back!!"

"The most comfortable beds in all of Guatemala and finally quiet. There were ant crawling throughout the hotel and mold on the bathroom ceiling, but the staff was so friendly we nearly forgot about it."

"Very friendly staff and generally a nice hotel. If you come by car, this is a very convenient place to stay, very different from other more boutique style hotels in Flores. We had booked one room for a family of four, but the room with two double beds is very small, and can only be recommended for families with small children without a lot of luggage. Breakfast is continental, but with nice fruits added to it."

"The room is clean and comfortable. It has restaurants and grocery around the building. The host send me the passwords of the doors in the same day of my arrival. My only comment is they can add some label or sign on the door so that I can easily identify which door to open. They have 4 front doors on the street. 1 more item that I want to mention is that google map put the hotel's location across the street. "

"This is a hidden gem in Flores. If you want enjoy Flores but are worried about the noise - there are plenty of loud bars and dogs there - this is the perfect spot. It is a private island with one hotel consisting of four rooms, each its own cabin. The five minute boat ride to and from town is provided free by Gustavo anytime you ask. Your deck is 10 feet off the shore line. I am going back!"
