"Lovely spot on a quiet pond. We very much enjoyed watching the loons, ducks, heron and turtles from the deck. Our lab loved playing in the water from the easy accessible water. Limited motor boats on the pond and a dead end road made for a quiet week. Cabin is comfortable and well equipped. Close to neighboring towns for exploring.Bonus that the cabin is so near The Place (great cinnamon buns) and Scott’s (inexpensive lobster rolls and great onion rings)! "Wonderful relaxing spot in Bayside. This charming historic cottage was quiet and comfortable, with everything we needed for a peaceful stay. The owner was easy to deal with, very responsive to questions, and accommodated our last-minute plans. Great location for unwinding and exploring the area."

"This cabin is practically new, very clean and super-well-equipped. The host was next door and attentive.We come to Maine every year and this property was the best we've ever occupied. Highly recommended!!!"

"This was my 3rd or 4th stay here, and my favorite spot in all of Maine. Even on a rainy or snowy day, it’s gorgeous. This is an older home with lots of charm, the most breathtaking views of the harbor, and everything you could need to enjoy time here indoors or out. I almost hate to add photos, as it will drive demand for this spot even higher. It’s just a stunningly beautiful space and it’s very hard to leave!"

"What a great place to stay and area to explore. A great time was had. Listing and reviews were accurate. Highly recommend Primo restaurant in Rockland and Mcloons lobster shack. The cottage was great. Only negative I can think of is the amount of hot water in the shower which we knew going in thanks to reviews. Would definitely utilize this space again. "

"Our two night stay in the Schoolhouse was perfect. The space is lovely and everything works. I am from down the coast and know coastal well water can be hard to wash with and not the most pleasant drinking. Water from the tap was great! The host provides just the right amount of helpful signage and information. Brooklin is so special. We hope to be back next year!"

"This cozy cottage is in the beautiful town of Phippsburg, next to the break-taking beach of Popham State Park. With its site on the ocean shore, the sound of waves soothes your soul, and the beach lends all kinds of opportunities for exploring both at low tide and high tide. Our host and hostess were very responsive to our needs, and my daughter and I greatly enjoyed out stay."

"We had a wonderful, restful 5 days. I especially enjoyed watching the tides. We kayaked and rode our bikes almost 100 miles over three days in three areas. Lots of lobster, a puzzle, books and campfires. Just what we like: an active but relaxing vacation."

The location of this property is excellent - the views are great and a walk from the house to Grime's Cove couldn't be more beautiful.
