"Let me start by saying the staff, or computer screen with a person in God knows where, was very nice. It was just very bizarre to check in with a kiosk. Otherwise, this was not what we expected. The room smelled like mold, the toilet was clogged upon our arrival, and it was just extremely rundown."

"Really nice place with an amazing positive atmosphere. Manager and staff was very service minded. A totally positive surprise was that, there Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday they have a social happy hour, where they serve free drinks and delicious food. That became our dinner.
Breakfast was also delicious and a lot to choose between "

"Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baytown recently and overall it was an average experience, not quite matching the rating.
The room itself was decent and worked fine for a short stay, but there were a few issues. My wife noticed the hallway had a strong weed smell, which wasn’t ideal. There was also a beeping noise outside that went on through the night, and at one point it sounded like there was some street racing nearby.
To be fair, we travel with a fan that helps drown out noise,...
