Excellent Service, Walking distance to town center
Great apartment, clean and safe. Within walking distance to Via Etnea - the main shopping street - and to a variety of the impressive buildings and monuments. Excellent Service from the Ferrini Home Staff,. No physical reception, communication via mail or phone - but everything worked perfectly. .

The residence was lovely, aircon in both bedrooms and living space was great for getting back from a hot day out. The appartment was very clean and they even let us drop our bags off in the appartment early before cleaning was finished which was very kind of them. The lady that let us in was lovely and we had a free bottle of wine on arrival. The appartment had a washing maching which was a life saver, the balcony was a nice size. The walk to the main tourist area past Bellini park is about 15 mins, which our kids (6 and 9) were fine with. Catania was a beautiful city and we had a fab time. An uber from the residence to the sandy beach was €20-€30. We would recommend staying here.

Bugs / cockroach in property - Poor service.
Bugs in property on first night. Bug spray provided by cleaner. Reception did not understand my issue, luckily cleaner was cleaning other rooms and helped me. Further issue with cockroaches in property. Again reception could not understand my full issue and when they eventually did they advised cleaner had sorted it and removed cockroach. After returning to the property and been advised it was sorted. The cockroach was still there (the cockroach was 1.5 inches bug as well!) So they either lied to me or did not understand what i was asking them to confirm. Further issue. Power tripped in property. I only had tv, washing machine on and the air con, receptions answer was Don't have the air con on whilst i am washing my clothes! (During a heatwave!) very poor response. Very disappointed. Property looks nice on pictures but i would not recommend staying here and i would not stay here again. Only saving grace was the lovely Marina who checked me in and helped with some of my issues.

The apartment was clean, all the facilities worked , including the air conditioning which as great. Unfortunately the lift broke down so carrying suitcases up / down four flights of marble staircase was a challenge . Also be aware there are three sets of codes to get into the apartment and to lock / unlock the door of the apartment took a day or so to master it. Luckily we got help from others in the apartment. Admittedly we were tired after our flight and there is alot of information to take in. Lesson, before agent leaves, make sure you go through the entey codes youself to make sure you can get in/out the building.

We were in the apartment, a family of 4. The apartment is very small in the photos, it looks big and spacious The pictures are very misleading The shower is really small, you can hardly move in it We had a problem that there was no hot water to shower when we returned from a trip in the evening and it was only fixed the next evening In our opinion, the service is very poor They said we would receive compensation and did not give any compensation Good things to say: The kitchen is spacious and equipped The living room is spacious One spacious and comfortable bedroom Their service is kind and nice people

The manager and the house cleaning staff were wonderful and very helpful. Would have liked to have more supplies for cooking, like a good bread knife, cutting board and maybe a drip coffee maker.

Appartamenti molto belli e puliti....ma palazzo con ascensore molto piccolo e scomodo con porte da richiudere obbligatoriamente (diverse volte siamo dovuti salire al 3° piano a piedi perchè bloccato a causa di chi non le aveva chiuse).....non distante dal centro.....parcheggio di fronte lungo la strada a pagamento oppure in garage convenzionato a 5 minuti a piedi....consigliato per visitare Catania....

Zweckmäßige Ferienwohnung über 2 Etagen- aufgrund der relativ zentralen Lage natürlich auch etwas laut. Flaschencontainerleerung manchmal um 2:00 Uhr morgens. Wir waren trotzdem zufrieden.

A perfect apartment in a quiet area.
A perfect apartment with all kitchen equipment. A TV and comfortable sofa wit kitchen downstairs and bedroom with a bathroom upstairs. A very quiet and safe place to stay. We did love it.

Overall, I did not enjoy my stay fully. First night I had to take a cold shower. However the communication was great when I reported the issue (They told me I had to wait until the water warms up again). The water still would get cold after 5-8 minutes. The following nights I was attacked my gnats which caused severe itching and swelling on my arm. My arm swelled up so bad from allergic reaction and it was the size of a tennis ball. I am not sure where the bugs came from. Both me and fiance got bit up while we were sleeping during the night. We had to travel to Paris after leaving and get pharmacy help from this issue (Which messed up some of our travel experience) I am still healing from all the bug bites on my left arm currently. My fiance got bit on his hand and legs. Parking was a big issue, I had to drive around more than once to find parking becuase the parking provided was taken by other people in the area thorughout the day. Communication was great with this place was not what i thought it would be.

We are pleased to know that you appreciated some of our services, at the same time, we regret to read that you were not fully satisfied with your stay. Please accept our apologies for what was not in line with our standard of quality, in particular the boiler.We were in touch with you several times during the stay and after the first complaint, we immediately explained how you had to use it. The next day, when we asked you a feedback about it, you replied : “ Hello, and yes water is great. Thank you so much! “. Our goal is to let our guests have a great time and we're always at disposal in order to achieve them so we don't understand why you replied “the water is great” but, in particular, we’re really perplexed about the gnats and the fact described. .Why did you never talk about that during our mutual conversation on whatsapp? We’ve never been informed about this issue since we’ve been managing the residence, almost 10 years, and we are sure, due also to the cleaning and its protocol, that the issue didn’t happen inside the apartment but in some other place where you stayed during that week. It's understandable that the review is not too honest and the situation described doesn’t represent our company and is not part of our standard but anyway, we look forward to hosting you again here to give you a better experience so hopefully you can change your mind. The apartment was simply perfect: clean, with a view at the Etna, close to the city center, in a lively a safe neighbourhood. The apartment was very confortable and had everything you need. Great WiFi! The staff is always available and willing to help you. They booked me a tour to the Etna. Just a great place to stay. I highly recommended it.

Nice and clean, but we had the smallest room. Tiny space and the sofa wasn´t realy new. Othrevise very comfy and all comunication was great. We would come back again, but to different room.

The staff were terrific, prompt, and helpful. I would stay at this brand again, but definitely not this particular location. The building itself was dark and sketchy. The elevator tiny and gave a jerky ride. We held our breath each time we used it. The apartment was interior facing with no window on the bedroom floor so it was dark. The shower was so small you have to squat to try and soap up your legs. It’s impossible to bend- pretty much a telephone booth. While it’s nicely renovated, this particular apartment in this building was not an enjoyable stay. I did go to the front desk at their more central location and that building seemed much more comfortable to stay in.

Amazing stay for couples. Especially those seeking a quiet more relaxing vacation. City had lots great food recommended by our host- and nice beaches. The apartment was absolutely stunning and in great condition. Clean and smoke free.

Good location. Right in a residential area. Bus stop is just 1 minute walk away. The interior can use some sprice up. I do like the wrap around balcony. Makes the facility very airy.

Great Experience at Ferrini!
Can't speak highly enough of the whole experience. In truth it doesn't look much from the outside but the apartments were clean, tidy and spacious -great for our needs. We were a group of 4 mature gentlemen who had an apartment each to ensure an undisturbed nights sleep! Great welcome by Sabrina who helped our planning and suggesting restaurants and activities for our 3 day visit and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Ferrini had arranged the airport transfer and booked the 'Etna' experience trip. All in all a great stay- maybe another day needed to do all the things we would like to have done.

Gute Verkehrsanbindung zu Stadt und Airport. Lage am Rande der Altstadt, was fußläufig die Erkundung einfach macht mit dem Nebeneffekt, dass man einen der schönsten Märkte passiert. Die Qualität der Ausstattung (z.B. Induktionsherd) aber auch die Begrüßung mit gutem Wein war einfach perfekt.

nice and clean apartment
amazing apartment clean.. short 15 mins direct walk to the old town., one thing to note. the apartment is on the top floor of a building. and the lifts are very old.. Lift was damaged when we check in but the chap ( Dino) help us with our bag. also you need to shut the lift doors after you exit. many inconsiderate guests did not shut the door and the lift stays stuck at the last floor landing.
