Dejlig hotel
Det var en meget dejligt hotel med venligt og imødekommende personale. Ren og komfortabelt. Dejlig swimmingpool og mad. Lidt langt fra bymidten. Men, til gængeld ingen støj og larm. Godt for en familie med teenagere. Vi er glade for at have valgt stedet.

Dejligt hotel ligger tæt på lufthavnen
Dejligt hotel og god service. Det ligger dog ikke særlig godt ifht. restauranter som man ikke bare lige kan gå til. Vi boede der da det ligger tæt på lufthavnen, så det var praktisk.

Yderst lækkert hotel. Eneste minus er beliggenhed langt fra centrum. Kræver en bil, men de andre trafikanter køre meget dårligt bil, så man skal være heldig for at undgå ridser og buler.

Very nice hotel
Airone is one of the nicest **** hotels we have stayed in, its clean, the room was very comfortable and huge (we stayed in a family suite) and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only little minus is the location, there is quite a walk to the center of town.

We loved everything about this property, especially the staff who on more than one occasion went out of their way for us. The property is beautiful as there is a large courtyard with a pool. Our room was very very nice and faced the pool. Free breakfast is outstanding! Book it, you won't regret. Need a driver? The hotel will call a wonderful driver who can take you anywhere you need to go in Catania for very affordable prices.

La struttura è nuova, il servizio di pulizia ottimo, il personale molto cortese e disponibile. La colazione abbastanza varia. Non è centrale e non è ben servito dai mezzi pubblici quindi bisogna affidarsi ai taxi per gli spostamenti o per raggiungere il centro.

Spacious room with a decent breakfast. Disappointing the pool was closed, it wasn’t advertised that the pool would be shut. The night reception staff were very helpful, however it seemed like in the day there was only one person who could help, despite there being 4 people at the back. Had to wait for over 13 minutes for assistance.

Meine Frau und ich hatten fünf richtig schöne Tage im Hotel. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, schöne neue große Räume und sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück war absolut ausreichend - wir brauchen keine riesigen Büfetts schon am Morgen und vor allem landet da sehr viel Essen im Müll. Schade ist nur, dass die Umgebung unsicher ist und wir am Abend keinen Spaziergang in die Stadt machen sollten (davor wurde uns vom Hotelpersonal abgeraten - nochmals Danke für diese ehrliche Auskunft). Für unser Mietauto war immer ein Stellplatz in der geräumigen Tiefgarage frei - richtig top. Abends haben wir immer passende Gerichte in der 'kleinen' Abendkarte gefunden. Wir empfehlen das Hotel gerne weiter!

The room was clean. The mattress was comfortable. The breakfast was acceptable. Cons: We couldn't adjust the temperature in the room. It was in the 60s outside and sunny. The room was 80 degrees. I have a thermometer on my travel clock. We asked the front desk to turn on the AC to about 68 degrees. The front desk clerk said she would and did. After returning from all day tourist stuff, the AC was off and the room was hot again. I went to the front desk around 9 PM and asked for the AC to be turned on and was met with some pushback. I was told that it was turned on. I went back to my room and by around 11 PM, realized the room remained hot. My travel partner went down and was told that it couldn't be adjusted because there was only one unit. Thi couldn't be true since the day before it had been done. My review score is based not only on there not being individual control of the temperature in the room, but the borderline belligerence of the staff. The breakfast was OK, however, there was milk added to the scrambled eggs after cooking, and the "bacon" (?) was undercooked. The room was fine as a room, however, with the other issues, I can't recommend it. I rely on honest reviews when booking a hotel and am trying to relay my experience.

The hotel was clean and modern . Staff were very helpful and friendly particularly , big shout out to Roberto who was extremely helpful , polite and went the extra mile . The buffet breakfast was awesome . The only negative is lack of public transport from hotel though there is the option to use taxi service provided by hotel . Definitely recommend Airone hotel for your stay in Catania.

Enjoyed our stay.
We are a family of four adults. We stayed in one large room with one large bed and two small ones. If you’re driving, it was a pleasant stay. Without a GPS it may have been hard to find. The staff was friendly, the hotel appears new. The breakfast was great. Fairly close by to sites and airport.

A great Hotel in Catania
We arrived quite late in the evening, greeted with a smile by reception. The room was spotlessly clean, very light and spacious thanks to the huge, balcony doors that opened out on to the swimming pool. The breakfast was first class – great coffee with a broad choice of different fruits, cakes, local cheeses, cold meats, yoghurts etc. There was also a simple cooked breakfast available of scrambled egg, bacon and sliced sausage too. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Airone, where the staff are very warm and friendly, if you are going to Catania in Sicily.

Week stay in Catania
Stayed for 1 week and the hotel is very clean and staff very amenable. King size double bed was very comfy and nice that the non-alcoholic mini bar was fully topped up each day. The hotel is out of kilter with the surrounding area which is a bit drab, but an excellent place to stay. It is a bit out of the centre so ideal to have a car (although Sicilian driving is a bit of an experience!), and €20 in a taxi, but next street down you can catch the bus (BRT5) for €1 - just be sure to buy your bus tickets from the Tabbacchi shop a couple of minutes up the same road, and buy tickets for return at the same time as not many of those shops are open late on. Underground parking is available on first come first served but there is also a bit of parking out the front or on the roadside, so not an issue. Would definitely recommend a stay here as the buffet breakfast is ample and whilst limited lunch/evening menu, it still suffices if you’re not planning on going out in town to eat. Only things to improve would be have either piped music in the pool area or extend the wi-fi to that area so you can download your own music to portable device. We stayed in room 13 on ground floor which was spacious although there are the early signs if a bit of mould round the shower seals that will soon need to be addressed but other than that cannot speak highly enough of this hotel.

Synes godt om: Rengøring, service og personale, faciliteter, overnatningsstedets tilstand og faciliteter
Das Hotel ist optimal für Unternehmungen, nah beim Ätna, Taormina, Ancantara-Schlucht etc., Parkplatz immer vorhanden. Die Betten sind super und schlafen konnten wir sehr gut. Uns hat ein Schrank gefehlt ( offene Ablagen) und etwas Platz zum Ablegen im Bad. Ansonsten alles bestens!
