"The house was fantastic, very cozy, comfortable, big and lots of light. The location and neighborhood was close to the beach and needed stores, and felt super safe and friendly. The beach vibe was so fun, we loved it! The only small confusion was with check in and check out. There were no instructions and we had to do trial and error with door locks and property access, etc. Would suggest a welcome manual."

"This was a perfect escape for our family of four. We were met by the host when we drove in and check-in was a breeze. The place was clean and comfortable and in a perfect location to the beach. There was a place out front that we could wash the sand off and plenty of space away from the street to leave our beach tent, beach shoes, sand toys, etc. The laundry room was a bonus and let us wash out sweaty clothes after the San Diego Zoo and LegoLand. "We had a nice day at this property. Miki was super responsive and helpful, which we appreciated. It's an older house (built in 1953) but decorated and outfitted well. Our only issue was that there was air-conditioning in the living room only (maybe I missed that in the listing?) Bedrooms had freestanding fans, which we didn't use at night because they were so loud. But sleeping with the windows open kept us cool enough, and beds are comfortable. "My husband and I stayed 3 nights here. We had the most relaxing, enjoyable time. The yard is beautiful and private! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach and town are just a short walk away. We hardly used our car. Jim is a great host. He even had a little gift for us when we got there. We will definitely be going back! "

"When you first walk on the property, you are greeted with the fragrance of magnolia and honeysuckle. Everything went up hill from there. Very clean and they thought of everything you would possibly want for your stay. We would highly recommend this cottage."
