"We arrived later than planned because of multiple road floodings in and around Cardiff, but staff was really helpful, breakfast was tasty and the whole place was very cosy. We would have loved staying more Nights."

"A very pleasant stay Room was lovely"

"Hyggeligt landligt ophold i frie omgivelser! God mad, meget venligt personale!"

"Quirky property, lovely log fire, helpful staff. Good food. Dogs very well catered for. Would have preferred a groundfloor room, which was originally allocated, but ended up in a first floor room. Lot of noise from heavy traffic at the rear of the property which can be heard in the room"

"All good"

"Room not aging well. Stained carpet. Bed linen clean. Towels clean. Shower ok."

"thank you"

"Ældre/slidt hotel, vanvittig koldt da vi kom på værelset og der gik et par timer før det var opvarmet.. sengene var af ældre dato og ikke meget fjedring tilbage.. Personalet var super søde og det vejede meget op! Alt i alt var det OK taget prisen i betragtning."

"We had a fantastic stay here in one of the new deluxe rooms. The room was incredibly comfortable, very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of hot dishes (special praise for the eggs benedict) alongside fruit juices, pastries, yogurt etc. We also had an evening meal in the pub which was again very nice. "Typisk Engell/ walisisk inn"

"Great location. Great staff. Breakfast selection good, but finishes too early for staying on holiday, so missed some breakfasts. Some issues with bathroom: towel rail/radiator not working, extraction fan not working & strong smell of drains."

"A very comfortable one night stay, lovely helpful staff, great good value food. The bed was comfortable and facilities were good. We were at the front so had a lot of road noise which we are not used too. I would recommend the hotel and pub"

"Perfect weekend away, rooms and pub are lovely, really lovely touches in each room. Pub was nice and had live music on Friday evening which was a real plus. Was very clean and staff were friendly!"

"Fin til et en enkel nat, renoverede værelser. Dog tæt på trafik og vej. Husk ar bestille bord til aften, stedet er berømt for sin pub mad."
