Fremragende service og beliggenhed
One&Only er et fremragende valg i Cape Town - centralt beliggende ved V&A Waterfront. Vi vaklede gennem nogen tid mellem et hotel med "havudsigt" eller et centralt beliggende luksushotel, hvor du kan få ALT. Vi boede på et island superior kingroom i 6 dage og det var alle pengene værd - selvom det ikke er "billigt". En rigtig god oplevelse !!

Exceptional Stay at The One and Only Hotel, Cape Town During my recent visit to Cape Town, I had the distinct pleasure of staying at The One and Only Hotel, and I can confidently say it was an experience beyond compare. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of sheer luxury and impeccable service that truly sets this hotel apart from any other. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Cape Town V & A Waterfront, The One and Only offers breathtaking views of both the majestic Table Mountain and the bustling V&A Waterfront. The hotel's prime location makes it the perfect base for exploring the city's rich cultural heritage, pristine beaches, and world-renowned vineyards. The room I stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with every modern amenity one could wish for, it provided a sanctuary of comfort and style. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights, while the private balcony offered stunning views that made every morning a delight. Culinary excellence is a hallmark of The One and Only. The diverse dining options cater to all tastes, from the exquisite Japanese cuisine at Nobu to the contemporary African flavors at Reuben's. Each meal was a gourmet adventure, crafted with the finest ingredients and presented with impeccable flair. The breakfast buffet, in particular, was a daily feast with an array of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes to satisfy every palate. A remarkable stay!

Unser Aufenthalt im One&Only war ausgezeichnet. Das Personal ist äusserst zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Die Zimmer sind modern renoviert, geräumig und sehr sauber. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das unglaubliche Frühstücksbuffet, was neben zahlreichen internationalen auch lokale Speisen anbietet. Die Lage an der Waterfront ist für Touristen sehr empfehlenswert, denn es ist alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Ausserdem haben wir uns zu jeder Zeit sehr sicher im Hotel und der Hotelanlage gefühlt.

Luxurious property. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Gold status not recognised until prompted. Despite the breakfast buffet being high quality and huge, the busy breakfast room (with sticky tables) reminds you this is a big hotel. Nobu restaurant superb. Other food only 8/10.

The property is conveniently located near the market and table mountain. Everything was so close - either walking distance or a short drive away. The staff was incredibly accommodating. We were assigned a host but never formally met him/her However , Tash was the premier concierge!! His recommendations were spot on and he scheduled all of our activities which lead to a superb vacation for my husband and I.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in

The view is good, but so are other locations. for a 5 star hotel I expecting a better service. Many times I haven't been recognized. and I spend a lot additional in the hotel. For my understanding I wiuld give between 3 to 4 stars never more.

This is a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff at the hotel are very well trained and will do everything they can to make your stay memorable. Breakfast is fabulous. We did not try Nobu. We highly recommend this hotel to any discerning traveler.

Terrible service. They seem desperately understaffed. You walk through the hotel and it sometimes feel like no one even works there. Also the staff they do have are badly trained, so the overall level of service is no way near what you’d expect from this level of hotel. Save your money and stay at the nearest Holiday Inn.

Great location. In normal times it would have been perfect. Unfortunately there was hotel construction Mon-Sat 10am to 4pm and it was very noisy and disruptive. You couldn't sit in the lounge and have a conversation it was that bad.

Our best hotel experience
Simply the best hotel experience we've ever enjoyed (and we've enjoyed a lot). Everything from when you pull-up, check-in, breakfast (seriously - best hotel breakfast we've enjoyed) and the service and amenities throughout the stay. Kids club is superb, pool is superb, food is superb, location is superb, view is superb. The best place we could want to be during Covid19 (which they handle professionally and calmly). There is honestly not one thing I can find to fault One and Only Cape Town.

Great hotel but now just a tiny bit tired. Will soon need a program of renovation. Staff were great. Gym is fab. Nice location.
