"The staff was incredibly welcoming (and understandably proud of their property). The grounds were also amazing; it definitely felt like Costa Rica! We saw monkeys and sloths in the trees right outside our room, and the vibrant foliage was lovely. Would definitely stay again!"

The place and the nature around it is amazing, you feel like a VIP the staff is amazingly friendly and the food is incredible, we had so much fun, so many things to do that time is not enough. "We only stayed one night when travelling through, but wished we would have had more time to enjoy the horse riding and ziplines. The dinner and breakfast was prepared for us by wonderful staff, and they catered for vegan, vegetarian and carnivores in our family group, including our 2-yr old grandson. We enjoyed the pool and waterslide during our brief stop, and enjoyed walking around the property with company from the very friendly (but not in your face!) dogs. "The location and property are absolutely beautiful! Incredible views! The grounds are kept meticulously! The rooms are clean and neat. The rooms are simple and yet elegant at the same time. The staff were very forgiving of my limited Spanish. A little harder to get to but worth the drive. The restaurant on property was excellent. Just a small sidenote… There was no air conditioner in my smaller room. I knew this going into it and the nice breeze that was almost constant."

I mentioned that we would be celebrating our daughter’s bday while we were there and they knocked on the door with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a candle and sang Feliz cumpleanos. "It's a beautiful spot overlooking the mountains. The chalet was well equipped and a fantastic use of space. We would highly recommend it. The only suggestion would be to cut back the trees off the upstairs balcony so that you can see the view better. "
