"Cottage was great, handy book with info, few treats left for us including treats for our dog. Had a great peaceful comfortable relaxing stay. Some bits id recommend would be an edit to description of closed off garden/front area, couldn’t leave dog out there off lead for toilet as wall very low he could jump it easily if he wanted to. Although instructions were given for location, those using tech would benefit more from coordinates or using the ‘what three words’ function to pin-point...

"Lovely peaceful spot in a rural location. The Barn was very clean and the scones and fizz were a lovely gesture. The only complaint would be that the matress in the double room is quite hard and uncomfortable but other than that we had a lovely stay."

"The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The weather was cold, windy and wet when we were there and it took a while to get the cottage warm and cosy. Close to Lanhydrock and Bodmin Moor, Tintagel and Padstow not far away, so a nice place to have as a base for mid Cornwall"

"The property was excellent and from the time we arrived everything was clear on how to enter. There was everything we needed including cleaning products and the kitchen was well stocked with what anyone would need. The bungalow was spacious and the area was quiet and clean well kept. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the site for families, couples or single travellers. A great location with a short drive to nearby villages etc"

"We had a great stay at The Roost in July. Warm and welcoming host. Very quiet location in a peaceful rural village. A very comfortable property, with thoughtful additions for bringing a dog to help them feel settled. Lovely aspect from the living area and cottage features aplenty. Well situated for exploring all across Cornwall. Would recommend and return."

"We could not fault inside the house clean and lovely Unfortunately parking is very hard if you have anything other than a smart car and there really isn't a garden Ok we arrived for our 10 day visit upon arrival was told not very nicely to move our car as we parked in wrong place we had a nice 2 days then went to combe Martin for the next 2 days fir our wedding which was perfect We arrived back at the house and within 2 hours we were being shouted at and verbally abused by a male neighbor...
