This was a lovely place to stay for my holiday in Cairo. I was on the 4th floor which was accessible by lift. I loved the rooms themed for Egyptian Gods which gave it extra character. The room was lovely and spacious, with good air conditioning, WiFi, fridge, good shower and very comfortable bed. The staff were so helpful with advice and helping to organise our days in Cairo. We could request breakfast (for a small fee) and housekeeping (free) each day as required. The area is noisy but safe and busy, with great links from Sadat. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

We sent some clothes to their laundry Service and they made 1 pair of sneekers dessapear. 3 nights/2 days they didnt clean the room.

Dear Jose, our reception staff addressed this claim with you by checking the security cameras and showed you the footage to verify that you gave us 2 laundry bags. One of the bags containing clothes and the other one containing 1 pair of shoes. In the 6 years we have been operating, never have we ever lost any item from our guests, as we have security cameras in every space where our staff works, so after showing you the proof that you didn’t give us 2 pairs of shoes, it is totally unfair to still claim that we are responsible for that loss. Furthermore, we also didn’t enter your room at any point in time because you didn’t request housekeeping, so our team didn’t have any contact with your belongings, aside from the time you gave us the items in reception.

Overall is good
A very clean hotel in Egypt, but it is a bit difficult to find the entry, which is inside a old building what we are hard to find it. The building is eco-friendly, there is no electricity during 3-6pm, and the elevator is broken that you may have to take your luggage by your hand in dark. Overall the staff are very nice, the location is next to the Egyptian Museum

Eu e a minha filha passamos uma noite nesse hotel no final da nossa viagem do 11.12 até 12.12. Os meninos da recepção foram muitos simpáticos, o checkin foi rápido e eficaz, recebemos uma garrafa de água na chegada. À recepção fica no segundo andar, temos que ir lá antes para ativar o elevador . O Hotel fica atrás do Museu do Egito, com vários restaurantes e bares por perto. Ficamos no quarto Ptah, bem limpo , grande espaço , banheiro espacioso, tudo limpinho , para quem tem problema de sono leve , ele é um pouco barulhento, a janela da direto na rua ( mas já tive esse problema com outros hotéis no Cairo, barulho para quem fica no centro), cama muito confortável, dormimos muito bem . Recomendo.

We purposely wanted a property close to the Egyptian Museum and we were right across the street. This is a boutique hotel with a small number of rooms and very personalized service. The rooms are quite unique - ours had a huge high ceiling and a balcony looking out over the museum. We arranged drivers and tours through the hotel and everything was perfect as booked. Their breakfast is an excellent value and served right to the room. It is on a major road so there is traffic noise but we had no trouble sleeping.

Loved this tiny boutique hotel. Little hard to find on upper floor of multipurpose building but worth the effort. Room was well laid out and had room darkening blinds, comfortable bed, great water pressure and fantastic staff willing and able to help with any questions. They helped us set up a tour of the city and our taxi to the airport. They also had a resident cat which personally I loved! For those who are light sleepers bring ear plugs as you are near a major intersection and traffic can be noisy. But that is the cost of being so close to everything in Cairo (traffic is crazy!). Loved this place!

It was a great surprise and pleasure to discover this hotel and room. Only problème is street noise and car noise but this is also a part of the hotel charming. A warm welcome and a real dedicated to customer.

This is the best decision I have made in my trip. The location is great, restaurants all around, safe area and easy transportation to everywhere, plus they will help you in anything you want. The room is perfectly clean and with all amenities. The biggest thing about Tahrir Plaza Suites is the service, they always solved our inquiries and problems we had, even one day they got us a cab at 3:00 when we couldn’t. They always helped us with everything: bookings, flight check-in, activities, restaurants and transportation. If you are searching for a great option to stay in Cairo this is the hotel you were looking for.

Stanza davvero molto grande con aria condizionata, anche il bagno spazioso con vasca angolare. I ragazzi della reception e della struttura super gentili e sempre pronti ad aiutarti, anche messaggiandosi con WhatsApp. Il palazzo purtroppo è un po trasandato e questo potrebbe scoraggiare. Non è facilissimo trovarlo, è sito al primo piano di un palazzo che fa angolo con la piazza quindi a volte il navigatore potrebbe dare qualche errore. Nel complesso da consigliare per rapporto prezzo/posizione ottima/qualità.

The property was located in a nice area , the museum directly across the street , There is no view of the pyramids from te hotel it’s a 30-40 min ride , beware of the guys walking up to you offering help to find your destination, they only want you to visit their shops or they want to be your your guide , You don’t need a tour guide for the museum , it was nice just walking thru and enjoying the sites ,

En personal del hotel fue muy amable y siempre atentos a ayudar en todo. Fue difícil encontrar el hotel ya que no tiene distintivo alguno que esté visible, está en la segunda planta de un edificio viejo y con poco mantenimiento. Las fotos que aparecen son retocadas ya que la habitación es en realidad diferente. El ruido de los autos y buses era casi insoportable por las costumbres de tocar claxon todos al mismo tiempo y duraba hasta las 2:30 am, luego ya se podía descansar

We had a wonderful time staying at Tahrir Plaza Suites as a party of three. They were extremely accommodating and gave us the option for early check in without any fuss. The staff were kind, informative, and made every effort to make our stay in Cairo as wonderful as possible. Being our first time in the city, they gave us recommendations of where to eat and which sites were a must-see. We stayed in the Amun-Ra suite and the room itself was spacious, clean, and with lots of storage. Being in such a central location, there is some noise from the cars outside - however, you will get that in all of Cairo. Just bring some earplugs and you will be okay! I would happily stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cairo!

The staff was absolutely amazing!! The rooms were beautiful. It is right on Tahrir Square so it’s a bit loud, but that area is easy to walk in and there’s fantastic food options everywhere.

I really enjoyed my stay here at this hotel. The facilities were great. The breakfast they served in the morning was really yummy! I didn’t like all the traffic noise but I loved how close this place was to all sightseeing places.

Perfekte Unterkunft für unseren Kairo-Urlaub
Tolles kleines persönliches City-Hotel in der zweiten Etage eines Altbaus (einige Stufen zum Fahrstuhl) mit sehr nettem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Sehr schönes großes hohes Zimmer, bequemes großes Bett, kleines Bad mit einer kräftigen Dusche, sehr kleiner Kleiderschrank, Kühlschrank. Balkon mit Blick auf das Ägyptische Museum und ein paar sehr große Straßen, also immer etwas Verkehrslärm und Hupen, auch bei geschlossenen Balkontüren - das muss man abkönnen, Mückengitter vorm Balkon. Fünf Minuten Fußweg zum Eingang des Museums und zum Tahrir Platz. In der Umgebung sehr viele kleine (gerade auch nicht-touristische) Geschäfte, Cafes und Restaurants. Kleines Frühstück auf dem Zimmer ist auch möglich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten für ein bis drei Euros je Fahrt per Uber oder Taxi alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Das Hotel gibt beim Check-in eine kleine Karte mit der Lage des Hotels und der Adresse auch auf Arabisch mit, so dass jeder Taxifahrer das Haus auch ohne Verständigungsprobleme findet. Für unsere fünf Tage in Kairo war es die perfekte Unkunft!

J'avais hésité avant de réserver cet hôtel, car dans les commentaires les gens disaient qu'elle est dure a trouvé et elle était seulement au 2e étage d'un building, donc ne semblait pas très sécuritaire. Bref j'ai regardé sur Google Map avant de venir et je n'ai eu aucune difficulté à la trouver. Une fois a l'intérieur on monte effectivement au 2e étage et la le personnel vous offre un accueille extraordinaire. Sérieusement ils font vraiment tout pour que vous vous sentez bien. Petit thé à l'accueil, ils s'occupent de vos bagages, vous commande de la nourriture de n'importe quel resto, même du McDonald's 😉, ils font vos réservations pour n'importe quelle excursions etc... Pour ce qui est de la chambre, elle est grande avec des plafonds très haut. Super propre et lit très confortable. Vraiment un hôtel au top! Petite recommandation, apportez vous des bouchons pour dormir au Caire, car tous les hôtels sont bruyants et les klaxons n'arrête jamais! Bon séjour à tous ✌️

A Little Noisy, But Comfortable & Ideally Located
Great little hotel located very centrally (across the road from the Egyptian Museum). It can be a little hard to find. Look for a blue plaque and head up the stairs to the 2nd floor. The outside traffic is very noisy. The only downside of the room is it isn't very soundproofed. They tell me they are looking at fixing this.

Nice hotel-apartment in the centre of downtown Cairo (at least very close to Tahrir Plaza) on the second floor in an rather old building with an extremly friendly and helpful personal (eg with respect to organising tourist trips within Cairo), which gives the location an unique personal atmosphere (a little bit like staying in a friends apartment or a four star student dorm). You can hear the noise of Cairo (constant traffic) all the time, which also gives you the real Cairo feeling (maybe not everyone likes that;-). A solid breakfast is served in the room for a smal extra charge (there is breakfast room). I can strongly recommend Tahrir Plaza Suites as an alternative to a top hotel, if you realy want to be in Cairo and if you like a personal atmosphere. It is a problem to find the location because there is no sign on the outside and the staircase is not in the best condition, I avoided using the damaged elevator to the extent possible (seems to be typical for Cairo, again if you do not want such local "atmosphere" you should better look for an expensive hotel). As at least not unusual in Cairo there is heavy armed police in front of the building most of the time, which makes it - in my eyes - a safe place (if you do not like this you should better not visit Cairo at all), beside that someone is present in the reception 24/7. To sum up, a pefect location for real travellers who do not want to spend a fortune for a hotel which could be in any other capital of the world.

Hôtel certes pas evident à repérer (dans un immeuble au 2ème étage,pas d'indication en facade) mais tres propre avec une grande chambre pour 3 tres agréable. Le Caire est une ville bruyante avec bcp de circulation mais le bruit de la ville perceptible dans la chambre ne nous a pas incommodé pour dormir. L'hôtel est situé a 800 m d'un quartier tres anime (resto,boutiques). La jeune femme a la reception est très aidante,nous renseignant volontiers sur les environs. Le seul point qui nous a gener est l'horaire du etit déjeuner servi en chambre(au plus tôt 8h10). Sinon,tout le reste etait impeccable pour nous
