"Great views of the park , quite amazing , was worth the visit for just the views alone . They have probably the best bar in the World "

"I had a group of 16 staying at the lodge and we all absolutely loved it! The facility was lovely and the rooms were very nice. The staff especially are very welcoming and kind. Best experience was walking out of the restaurant after dinner and seeing an elephant standing in the middle of the path. 10/10 would recommend!"

"The facilities are new and beautiful. They overlook the small crater lake Munyanyange which hosts birds year round and lesser flamingoes in July/August. The staff are excellent. The chef is superb! Very close to a gate for Queen Elizabeth. Staff helpful in arranging tours and walks as desired. An up and coming location, I believe. It can be hard to find initially as Google maps doesn’t have the back roads of Katwe, only the main road. If a sign goes down, you will need to ask directions...

"This spot is great. It definitely isn't the most luxurious place but, for those who are game, it is a wonderful property with extremely attentive and caring staff. It is nestled right in the edge of the Kiwali forest and a great jumping off point for chimp trekking."

"Lovely setting, lovely staff, very good food, nice views. Pool was not well maintained, and the first floor in the otherwise lovely apartment with seaview that we had, was not cleaned recently. That gave a little too many insects in the room and we decided to stay just one night. It felt like the manager was on holidays, and they were not busy, since we were the only guests in the hotel at the time. Beware 4x4 is adviseable to get the last 2 kilometres from highway to crater rim."

"Loved my stay at Engiri. I didn't want to leave. The place, the staff, the warm staff, the elephant and hippos roaming about in the mornings - I loved it all."

"We had a wonderful stay at this lodge and the views of Queen Elizabeth NP was stunning! LOCAL food was good and stick to that when you order. The bathroom was beautiful and there was a bathtub and plenty of hot water. WiFi was not good. Sorry. But all in all this lodge comes with our warmest recommendation! "

"The accommodation is in the middle of the nature and offers great viewing possibilities for monkeys, birds, various insects and more. It is quiet, rooms are spacious, food is delicious. Brenda did a good job and was ready to help every time. Keep in mind, it's a community location. You need a torch to walk in the dark. Some small suggestions: small towel in the room and soap to wash your hands"

"Great looking hotel! i wish I would've had more time to enjoy the terrace and look at primates. Next time, easy choice. I really enjoyed knowing that their vegetation part shares the land with the park, so in a good day you can see Chimps from your front patio."

"Hotel was nice enough but extremely hard to get to. It is the rainy season in Uganda and the dirt roads were tough. Also to get to the hotel you have to climb a lot of stairs so not for anyone who has mobility issues. Final note they had removed all mosquito nets we think a bit prematurely "
