"This property is a gem for sure. The suite was a good size with separate living, bathroom and bedroom areas. Very nice stay and comfortable bed! There is no on site staff, they text you the room code. That was nice too."

"Nice, spacious room with good amenities. Check in is by texted code as the hotel consists of a few rooms on the 3rd floor of Pioneer Condos, so there were no interactions with staff and no daily housekeeping, which was absolutely not a problem for our short stay. Location in downtown is very quiet, but there is a restaurant in the building, a brewery in the building, and an excellent coffee shop (Nashwell) across the street. Parking was easy as was getting around Lubbock. "

"This property is old and somewhat outdated, however it was clean and suitable. A star off for the lobby scent that was overwhelming and off-putting. Not a fan of that, so if you are sensitive to smells this place might not be for you. (We laughed and wondered if they were trying to mask another smell) Husband said his breakfast omelette was very good; entire staff seemed friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable."

"The room had dead and live roaches on arrival. There was one towel and no extras available. There was no trash can nor bags. No toilet paper in the room. Only one working lightbulb and no extras to spare. Clerk was on her phone with her boyfriend while I checked in. Room smelled like strong cigarette smell and it even made my scrubs smell for work, worst stay ever in my life."

"5 years ago, we spent the night here when this place was brand new. It was great. no issues no problems. Fast forward to today: The place has gone to bleep. The have not upgraded or even maintained the property at all. The 10ft dog run where you can let your dog go potty used to have grass; no more. It's a dirt spot now. The key fob reader for the side entrance door is broke, so enjoy the walk all the way around to the front of the hotel. Took me 15 mins to figure out how to get the shower head...

"The overall stay was great. No complaints w the room or amenities. The general manager however was very rude at check in. I asked if the deposit was refundable she rudely said yes it would be refunded within 48 business hours. It has been 10 business days of 05/23/26 && I still have not received my $100 deposit that she guaranteed would be refunded.
