"Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between."

"Very lovely couple running the Town House! Was greeted by a lovely Lily at the door (their dog)! Would recommend calling them just before you get there as it can be difficult to find a parking space on the road Breakfast was lovely, nice selection of cereals and toast"

"A great breakfast, the room we had was next door to the two water heaters, making the room very hot indeed other than that a good stay and staff were very attentive, will definitely go again but not in the same room, breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal parking is good also with no extra charges."

"A tired hotel that was quite remote. Rooms were very hot even with the windows open and were dated. The staff were very good and the meal we had from the daily restaurant menu was really delicious and of good quality. It was fine but wouldn’t return."

"Pet-friendly location, ideal if you want to explore the surrounding areas of outstanding beauty. As advertised, it backs into a busy A road so don't expect to be able to relax in the garden for long. Once the doors are windows are shut though the noise from the road is hardly noticeable inside. Property was clean and as advertised, easy to access. Communication with the host was minimal but very efficient. Host provided bread, milk, butter, jam, tea and coffee, a very nice touch and very useful...
